Not entirely tasteful, but it's what we all hoped really isn't it?

Go, Jason. Go, Jason.

PassTheTwiglets · 10/09/2011 19:16

Oh well 26 isn't so bad, is it? Not quite half my age yet :) DD just ends up chatting throughout it and dancing around the room though, 'tis quite annoying.

Jason? Have you got your LoL handy? (he was Top Of List for a long time).

Right, Doctor Who. Bugger off, you lot.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 19:24

Yeah, The Girl does the same. She's a bit too good at the hip-wiggling really.

::Hope the neighbours can't see::

And speaking of Neighbours. Jason has never been on my LoL but I do think he's going to be a good competitor - he seemed to be going at it with great gusto in the group dance!

Dan Lobb is a former tennis player turned TV presenter (and having seen the previews will be my No 1 Strictly totty this , although Harry Judd is quite a mover I believe).

Well I have survived Build-a-Bear. Dropped Miss S off but ended up back in there while they were having their tea elsewhere and left considerably poorer - after buying 2 outfits and a pair of shoes a birthday pressie for her Shock

Personally I want this one - with a DIY sound chip that says "I'm sorry sir I can't answer that question."

Grin

Oooooh, and, while I was wandering around buying crap, Mr S has signed us up for Virgin TiVo! YouTube in glorious 42" hi-def technicolour.

Twigs - apparently half your age + 7 is the equation for respectable toy-boy hood!

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 19:46

ROFLMAO @ JP bear! I want one too.

Can you really YouTube on the TV, Spiro? That would be fantastic. I wonder what you would watch first?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 19:47

Agh. Build A Bear. I took The Girl as an end of holiday treat because she's always missed parties there when she's been invited and I reckoned that it's now or never, as she'll very soon be too old. She loved it - and has been playing on their website ever since - but I was underwhelmed. I hadn't realised how little they had to do to build the flipping bear - basically, they take an empty bear and blow kapok into it, and that's it. She thought she was going to get to choose eye colour and so on. And then a party of (guess) 5 years old came in. Oh my dear. The shrieking.

::faints at the memory::

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 19:53

Ah, Maud you are ever too old for Build A Bear, I always go ni when ' m in the UK and drool over them. They had a Siberian tiger once that I was very hard put to resist.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 19:54

never obviously.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 19:59

I reckon we're probably coming up to the bit where BAB will be considered uncool, and then when she's a teenager it'll be cool or sweeeeet again.

::Looks at neighbourhood teenagers bedecked with Hello Kitty and Snoopy::

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 20:00

No tigers now, but you might want this for your bear, Spiro Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 20:03

For Massive and Spiro

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 20:10
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 20:13

But you've seen the original footage on a screen that size, nicht wahr?

::Puts island emergency services on standby::

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 20:18

The original footage isn't quite so focussed, though, Maud. So you can recover somewhat between discombobulations.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 20:20

Oh, indeed. Nor is it set to the inimitable Mr Thorogood and the aptly-named Destroyers.

PassTheTwiglets · 10/09/2011 20:56

LOL at my t-shirt, thanks Maud :o Am also LOLing at the fact that the aptly-named Dan Lobb being a tennis player!

ROFL @ Build A Strike Back Bear and his little outfit! :o I am with you, Maud, on the underwhelmingness of BAB - they get to do nothing, even the Kapok thingy is just them standing on a button, they don't even get to aim it or anything. Very disappointing. And Bearemy for Jeremy is the worst name EVER.

Right, off to watch Outnumbered and QI. Back tomorrow, night all!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 21:14

Dan Lobb, brother of the less well-known Frank Backhand and Joe Serve.

Outnumbered was hilarious. If you want to see The Girl, look at Karen. 'Tis scarily accurate. A demain!

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 21:59

TV is pants on Sats here, too.

In case anybody else is at a loose end,

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 22:08

I know one shouldn't approve of Bond but ....

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 22:11

What's that doing for your boredom and frustration?

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 22:19

Lovely smiles, there, at 2.0 and 2.2-2.4 Nice to see a bit of Mr North for a change. How is Mr North and South doing?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/09/2011 22:21

You may be sure, my dear, that Mr North and South is in very good hands.

Wot news from the rialto island?

SupermassiveLBD · 10/09/2011 22:26

Boredom and frustation reigns! I had some letters to write but can't Get On with them Sad Loads of noisy sport earlier too to grate on my nerves. And nobody liked the dinner, and thus sulked.

Ah well, tomorow is another day, and all that.
