I am brain-dead tonight so this is rubbish - just a place-holder. Please do something else if you can think of a decent one!

In thate case, Maud, you will appreciate this - I have just Facebook'd DrTwigs, telling him that I've found a 'cracking owl sanctuary' we could visit... :)

We are planning on taking our own big plates, too...

Twigs - that'll be Half Naked Soldier Grin

Thanks, Spiro.

::rolls eyes::

::feeling a little queasy now::

SupermassiveLBD · 12/07/2011 13:42

How come he looks so very, very bare in that pic? Perhaps it is something to do with the broad daylight and the baby oil...

PassTheTwiglets · 12/07/2011 14:28

ROFL, Maud! I tell you, it's almost better having this 'holiday' for the fun we are having on Facebook about it :)

Spiro - ah, gotcha!

LadyD, if you are around, how is everything, how are you holding up?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 12/07/2011 18:56

Maud, a shirtless, sweaty/oiled, ever-so-slightly hairy chested John Porter makes me feel a lot of things (or want to Wink), but queasy is most definitely not one of them!

LadyDamerel · 12/07/2011 19:48

Thank you for your thoughts everyone. Grandpa died yesterday, very peacefully, with lots of his family around him. I'm doing okay, emotionally drained and absolutely knackered after 4 days of driving to and from where he lives but I'm holding up.

DumSpiroSpero · 12/07/2011 19:56

Sorry to hear about your Grandpa, LadyD. Lovely that all was peaceful and his family were around though. Hope you're all doing ok.

PassTheTwiglets · 12/07/2011 20:01

Oh LadyD, I'm so sorry, how sad :( But how lovely that you were all there for him. Am thinking of you all.

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 12/07/2011 20:07

Thank you Smile.

I have to stay awake until about 9:30/10 so I can put the puppy out - DH is away, typically - so I need lots and lots of distRActions, please!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/07/2011 20:09

I'm so sorry about your Grandpa, LadyDamerel, but hope it was some comfort to you and yours that you were there. Would you like a restorative glass of Polish cordial?

I understand you, Spiro, but still find the sight of JP being tortured (in a pose redolent of umpteen crucifixion paintings) more eeurgh than phwoar.

LadyDamerel · 12/07/2011 20:11

Can I have a double, please Maud?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/07/2011 20:12

Just seen that LadyDamerel requires a little divertissement. I hope she will agree that this is one of our very finest.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/07/2011 20:13

I don't have a double, LadyDamerel, but I can offer you a treble.

LadyDamerel · 12/07/2011 20:15

He does look mighty fine in a tux, doesn't he? Like the treble too, that will do me.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/07/2011 20:20

Of course, if one were really a lush, one could take one's Polish cordial as a treble, trebled.

TheSmallPrint · 12/07/2011 20:25

Evening all, Lady D lovely to see you back, I'm so sorry about your grandad but know he would have been at peace having his family around him Smile.

Maud, your pics are a lovely tonic after a hard day, although I'm also with Spiro on the HNS I'm afraid. I can blur out the torture element in my mind!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/07/2011 20:32

Hello Small. 'Tis fine. You and Spiro can perve over admire a man being roasted alive while I attend my fiancé's elegant dinner party.

DumSpiroSpero · 12/07/2011 20:41

Do you like the beardy & intense look?

LadyDamerel · 12/07/2011 20:44

I like his forearms in that pic, Spiro Confused.

LadyDamerel · 12/07/2011 20:47

This is a little odd. It's not Lucas, is it?

DumSpiroSpero · 12/07/2011 20:47

...and my current favourite Grin

LadyDamerel · 12/07/2011 20:50

This is my new favourite from the pics I'm currently scrolling through on Google Images

DumSpiroSpero · 12/07/2011 20:51

Forearms are always good aren't they Lady D?!

That is Lucas, immediately after being handed back to Harry by the Russians at the beginning of Series 7.
