Morning all, hope it wasn't a hard days knight for you Massive.

Another day of busy ness for me in fact this whole weekend is going to be busy. I don't mind busy generally but this is bordering stressful. Sad

PasstheTwiglets · 17/06/2011 11:19

Morning everyone! Maud, your Mr Thornton "still feeling poorly?" pic was perfect - he looks just like he's asking that! What a sweetie. Also love that "let me console you" pic, as always - now there's a hand that does dishes with Fairy...

Spiro, he liked his cake, thanks. I was aomewhat disappointed/amused that TwigBoy didn't know what it was supposed to be :o My family got him an Android phone between us and then he had the usual selection of books/DVDs. Score on his parents' presents though - every one was a DVD that I really want to see as well :)

Smallio, how annoying that you have to be busy all weekend as well as during the week :( Are you going to be this busy for the forseeable future or is there an end in sight?

TheSmallPrint · 17/06/2011 11:42

Glad Dr Twigs had a good day Smile and a very generous present too.

I'm going to be really busy for the next couple of weeks at least before any kind of lull.

Is it raining near you? It's absolutely tipping it down here.

PasstheTwiglets · 17/06/2011 12:12

Not raining here Small, but didn't stop yesterday - we obviously passed it on to you, sorry abot that :) Sorry you are going to be so busy for a while, that's horrible.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/06/2011 13:53

Glad you appreciated the choice of pics, Twigster, these things are never accidental, doncha know.

SupermassiveLBD · 17/06/2011 14:39

hope it wasn't a hard days knight for you Massive

Grin Small.
I am always reminded of that old Mae West quote

And talking of hard, what a shame you have be hard at work so much, instead of giving your attention to more important things

Twiggy, I am glad Dr Twigs had a good time for his birthday, even though you couldn't go out to celebrate.

Massive, I think she actually designed this room, specifically to keep him in. It looks like it's in Afghanistan or somewhere but it's actually in her back garden...

DumSpiroSpero · 17/06/2011 16:13

Who's for some wet Porter?

TheSmallPrint · 17/06/2011 16:58

mmmmmm yes please! Grin

I think that last pic of Spiro's has sent us all adrift... ! Spiro, was it from Twitter JP?

SupermassiveLBD · 17/06/2011 20:27

I remember that bit from SB. They jump into a river or something. Naughty lady producers again, one wonders? I really really must finish watching it.
But the dreaded school hols are here.

OP posts:
PasstheTwiglets · 17/06/2011 21:03

Golly, Massive, good luck! Are the SBs largely happy to amuse themselves or are you expected to play with/entertain them a lot?

SupermassiveLBD · 17/06/2011 21:13

Fortunately they scorn my attempts to enter into something that might remotely interest them, Twigs.

There is a local holiday club we're trying to get them into, like summer camp but they sleep at home -- on the stand-by list atm, as our original plan fell through

How are you feeling today?

OP posts:
PasstheTwiglets · 17/06/2011 21:23

Well that's something, I suppose - it's the sheer amount of playing that I have to do in the holidays that I find so hard, though they are getting much better at playing with each other, without me, now that TwigBoy is that bit older.

I'm much better today, thanks.

TheSmallPrint · 17/06/2011 21:31

Massive I'm sure you can persuade them that it's an action film that they would enjoy?

SupermassiveLBD · 17/06/2011 21:37

yes, Small but I am dreading them noticing that all mummy's nice action films have a hero that looks very suspiciously similar, and mummy's eyes go all funny when he's on the screen, especially when he's wet and/or shirtless.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 17/06/2011 22:27

I imagine you will shield your eyes when he's shirtless Massive, given your previous comments on his scary muscles? Wink

SupermassiveLBD · 17/06/2011 22:38

Can I peek between my fingers, Auntie Small? They are scary, but not that scary, especially as we know JP is a pussycat anyway.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 17/06/2011 23:41

Talking of pussycats, is it time I put Uzi the Puzi out?

What do you think, hun?

And you? (And your muscles are just fine, I am sorry I was rude about them.)

And what is your view on the outputtingness of minor felines, Sir Wolfie?

PANTS???

Oh, I see. you're off to bed and you don't care what I do with the little blighter...

::Staggers in::

The Cultural Adventures of Maud: Episode 438

I think I may be a tiny bit in love with Suggs, but I'll probably change my mind once the tinnitus wears off.

::Notices that Massive has snuck off with Gizzy again, so puts Uzi out and turns off the lights::

SupermassiveLBD · 18/06/2011 00:09

Notices that Massive has snuck off with Gizzy again
Oh, no I haven't!

But you have been out culture-vulturing again, haven't you, Maud!

Night night!

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/06/2011 00:22

Oh, pardon me.

::Kicks boots and broadsword under the chaise longue::

Does reliving one's youth in a hall full of men who all obviously want to be Suggs (I counted at least one fez) count as culture?

TheSmallPrint · 18/06/2011 07:54

Morning all, is it too early to watch SB do you think?

DumSpiroSpero · 18/06/2011 09:17

We've got the desk Spiro, now all we need is to get rid of Harry...

Morning ladiez!
