While everyone else is getting their thinking caps on

I'm watching Nurse Jackie (never watched before) while tackling about a month's worth of ironing. I challenge you to find me beautiful things to look at, in intervals between steaming things into submission.

TheSmallPrint · 15/06/2011 22:25

I can't Maud I'm on the phone, tomorrow I may be able go assist but not tonight. Sorry.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 15/06/2011 22:30

I'll probably still be ironing tomorrow. Until then, I guess I'll just have to make my own entertainment.

SupermassiveLBD · 15/06/2011 22:41

Sorry Maud, I was about to come to your rescue but the puter misbehaved again. Have you seen the lunar eclipse Google Doodle, btw?

But here is something nice , at last, for you to feast your eyes upon, Maudie, dear.

Oh my! Oh my!

::Drops iron and singes the Aubusson::

And again

::dabs forehead with lace-trimmed, cologne-soaked hankie::

Suddenly I'm feeling very hot. It must be the ironing.

::fans self::

Thank you, my dear.

SupermassiveLBD · 15/06/2011 23:00

De nada! You can do the same for me one night when I am ironing. I was looking for something fresh in the moving picture department, but so far no luck.

I don't think anyone makes hommages a Monsieur Thornton any more. It's all guns and fisticuffs now. Eheu.

SupermassiveLBD · 15/06/2011 23:10

I shall keep searching but I just got distracted with one of Gizzy tied up rather a lot.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 15/06/2011 23:14

Ah, yes. As Rousseau himself observed, man is born free but everywhere he is in chains. Or possibly ropes.

SupermassiveLBD · 15/06/2011 23:27

Poor old Gizzy, they do make him suffer at times. but I suppose it serves him right for being a bad boy. Wink

Really must go, early start for me tomorrow

Sweet Milton dreams and don't get too hot and bothered with all the ironing.

Nighty night!

PasstheTwiglets · 16/06/2011 11:06

I think I'm not very well. And we are supposed to be going out to posh restaurant tonight by ourselves for DrTwigs' birthday. Now I think we may have to cancel. I feel so guilty, spoiling his birthday :(

If only there were a doctor nearby...

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 11:32

Oh, Twigs, poor you, I am so sorry.

Why do things like this have to happen at the most inconvenient time?

I am sure the the doctor is most concerned.

''Can I kiss it better, Twigs?''

OP posts:
PasstheTwiglets · 16/06/2011 12:02

Oh you certainly can, Doctor Track! It hurts here... and here... and here... and here...

TheSmallPrint · 16/06/2011 12:40

Oh poor you Twigs! Can you just dose yourself up and struggle through? It would be such a shame to miss your evening.

PasstheTwiglets · 16/06/2011 12:46

Nothing I can really take, as I feel a bit sicky... my mum probably won't want to come down in case she catches anything and she is our babysitter.

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 12:51

I am naughty, when I feel sicky like that, I pop a Motilium. Cos once I start it gets very unpleasant.

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 12:54

Hmm. I wish there would be a photoshoot for these guys

Love the way the pic rotates Grin!

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 16/06/2011 13:13

I take Motilium too Massive, tis a wonder drug as far as I am concerned. Get thee to the chemist Twigs!

Did you see the price of that stuff Massive? Shock

PasstheTwiglets · 16/06/2011 13:43

Well, I officially love you ladies. I have got some Motilium and definitely feel better! I didn't realise you could get anything like that, let alone over the counter! Thank you so much. I think it is just a bad case of IBS but that doesn't usually make me feel sick or make me lethargic. Anyhow, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

don't tell Dr Track that I feel better though - I haven't let on that he can stop kissing it better now. The poor dear is so dedicated...

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 14:12

That is good to hear, Twigster.

Of course you need to check it's not masking some important symptoms, so the good doctor should stay right where he is, just to be on the safe side probably on Twiggy's ktichen table
