While everyone else is getting their thinking caps on

Glad you're feeling better Twigs.

Nothing to report here but am off to do my ironing and watch the rest of MacBeth in a minute!

TheSmallPrint · 16/06/2011 16:21

Can I just say

AAaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!

Thanks, just had a nightmare of a meeting.

Hooray Twigs, as I said tis a wonder drug. Probably shouldn't take it if it's fod poisoning (as you need to get rid of whatever is in there making you ill) but for viruses and general queasiness it's the bees knees.

Enjoy MacBeth Spiro.

DumSpiroSpero · 16/06/2011 17:53

Haven't got round to Macbeth yet as Mr S came in just after I posted.

I have, however, made 1 steak pie, 8 sausage rolls and 12 cheese & mango pinwheels - all with the correct pastry!

Was chatting to the new bloke at work today & our fave subject came up - his response...

"Yes, he is a bit of dish" Shock

Clearly my gaydar needs returning! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 16/06/2011 17:57

Or even retuning.

Had to chuckle when I typed the 'gr' into my phone for grin. Predictive text came up with:

Gruinard - grinding - grin

Grin Blush

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 18:25

Goodness, how industrious of you, Spiro. All that patisserie and nothing burnt too! I suppose I did manage to get the dinner at least and I didn't cremate the chops either.

Does anyone find predictive text helpful at all? Ever?

What does you new colleague mean, your favourite subject is a bit of a dish.
He is a very large plate-ful indeed Grin

PasstheTwiglets · 16/06/2011 18:27

Are you enjoying Macbeth, Spiro? Is it 8-year old-friendly by any chance? LOL at Gruinard/grinding!

What happened in your meeting Small? Sounds awful :(

We are not going out tonight. Especially irritating as we have a 2-for-1 voucher which is only valid until this evening! Hey ho. Poro DrTwigs is being very understanding and saying he doesn't mind. I'm sure the Prosecco and 8 million DVDs he got will help to ease his pain :)

DumSpiroSpero · 16/06/2011 18:48

Shame about your night out, but better to go when you're feeling 100%. What did you get Dr T in the end, and does he like his pizza cake?

As for Macbeth it's rated 12 which I'd say is spot on tbh. No graphic violence as yet, but lots of bloody knives and hallucinations involving sinks, saucepans etc filling up with blood. Also 'Lady M' talking about losing her baby & some sexual references.

TheSmallPrint · 16/06/2011 18:51

So the motilium didn't work well enough then? What a shame.

Meeting was generally OK but one person on the team is driving me NUTS. At the moment I am doing the polite smiling thing but soon....

Twigs, just did first go on level 2 - ouch! My shoulder is killing already so I think tomorrow wil be baaaaaad. btw she was all over Natalie in level 2, it was quite embarassing Grin.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/06/2011 19:54

::stern::

Twiggy, this lolloping around feeling sorry for yourself really won't do. You need to get in shape. A personal trainer from British Militray Fitness will soon raise your pulse rate.

TheSmallPrint · 16/06/2011 20:21

Well he's certainly fit Maud.

I meant to say 'Happy Birthday Dr Twigs'! Have a Wine on us.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/06/2011 20:49

I thought he might so something to your pulse rate too, Small!

Cheers Wine to the good Doctor Twigs.

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 21:04

And birthday wishes and Wine to Dr Twigs from across the waves

So sorry you didn't feel up to going out tonight, Twiggy . Here is a two for one voucher you can use at a later date Grin

Golly Massive :)

Small, the Motilium worked well, stopped me feeling queasy - but I still felt crampy and headachy.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/06/2011 22:13

Let me console you, Twiggy

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 22:23

I don't expect it is quite worth being poorly, to be consoled by the likes of them.

But it has got to cheer you up a little teensy bit..

DumSpiroSpero · 16/06/2011 22:28

Just finished Macbeth. The Man is hardly in it, but it was good. Will definitely watch the other episodes of the dvd, which is more than can be said for 'Moving On' Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/06/2011 22:28

Are you still feeling poorly, Twiggy?

Well, they've certainly cheered me up, Massive.

TheSmallPrint · 16/06/2011 22:31

I don't know about Twigs but it certainly cheered me up Massive.

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 22:36

Me too! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/06/2011 22:37

I'm orf for an early night. Sweet dreams, one and all!

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 22:44

Nighty nighty, Maud. That is a TSFW Nighty of course.
Oh, and sweet DReAms.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/06/2011 22:50

::flips coin with Mr Thornton to see who gets the Floppy White Nightshirt::

SupermassiveLBD · 16/06/2011 22:54

Well, Maud, I suppose this is a two for one kind of night.
