Nothing that delicious I am afraid, Maudie. The Superboys will be on the prowl 24/7 from next week on. Trying to enroll them in Something to Do., the activity we booked for them fell through.

Must dash now, back later I hope.

I'm far from being a domestic goddess, trust me! Mondays are always manic here - I would make up for it by having some me time tomorrow when DS is at nursery but I am going to make a birthday cake for DrTwigs tomorrow and try not to eat the icing

I have just ordered a sink and unit for the downstairs bathroom, hurrah. It may actually be a proper bathroom after all, one day, instead of just a junk room! Maud, did you ever get your furniture sorted out?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/06/2011 19:31

::Sigh::

Yes, eventually. So now all my old drawers are stored in new drawers.

::collapses with mirth::

PasstheTwiglets · 13/06/2011 19:48

Good one, Maud....

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/06/2011 20:21

Oh no! I've affronted Mr Thornton. Please forgive me, Mr Thornton, for my coarse and wholly unnecessary reference to undergarments.

::sobs::

::begs::

SupermassiveLBD · 13/06/2011 21:10

Oh, dear, Mr Thornton offended by Maud? Whatever next!

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/06/2011 21:11

::dabs at eyes with lace-trimmed hankie::

Yes, Massive, and I've apologised and everything. I even begged.

SupermassiveLBD · 13/06/2011 21:17

I bet he enjoyed the begging. Has Gizzy been giving him a few pointers on that subject?

I take it you are friends again now, after you shyly sneaked an extra ratafia onto his plate.

::Reads the note, written in a fine copperplate hand, brought to her by Dixon::

::Rushes from the room::

::Returns, chignon askew and looking slightly flushed::

Oh joy! We are reconciled

TheSmallPrint · 13/06/2011 21:39

Maud what have you been up to?

TheSmallPrint · 13/06/2011 21:41

Oh poo, too late. Again.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/06/2011 21:44

Too ashamed to say, Small. Mr Thornton objected to my hilarious knickers joke.

Anyway. I'm off to beddy-byes now. Good night all!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/06/2011 22:10

Oh I missed saying goodnight to Maud while my computer crashed yet again

Is anyone else still about?

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 13/06/2011 22:14

TheSmallPrint · 13/06/2011 22:16

Hi Small, I think my puter's fan has got gunked up, can it borrow your IF to cool it down? If you haven't any nice pics to be looking at tonight, that is...

DumSpiroSpero · 14/06/2011 00:42

I have gone and stuck my oar in on a bf/ff thread and it is not going well...

This is what happens when I get back late from shopping and you lot have all buggered off to bed! Grin

TheSmallPrint · 14/06/2011 06:49

Morning. What thread Spiro?

DumSpiroSpero · 14/06/2011 07:00

this one

I never post on those threads as I will admit to having a few residual 'ishoos' where bf is concerned, but my narky streak got the better of me!

DumSpiroSpero · 14/06/2011 07:12

Ooh look...

Captain America poster

TheSmallPrint · 14/06/2011 09:32

It's not worth getting involved in these debates Spiro (although I can see why you feel strongly), I had some issues with Smallboy major (mine not his I think) but luckily had a very supportive family and got over it. I was much more relaxed with SB minor but he was a heffer so I was not as concerned about him losing weight! Thing is we should let people make their own choices, DH and I were both ff in the 70s we are healthy, intelligent (?!) people who haven't struggled in life because of it as far as I'm aware.

PasstheTwiglets · 14/06/2011 09:42

I had bf ishoos too so I know where you're coming from, Spiro. As if we don't have enough things to feel guilty about as a parent :(

Re. that poster - as he's not even on it, I am assuming that his, ahem, part, is even smaller than expected, boo hiss.

Off to make a pizza cake!
