While everyone else is getting their thinking caps on

Guy on horseback, shouting lucky horse now why should I be interested in that, I wonder?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 23:21

You know, I think .

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 23:34

Ooh lovely Maud. I do like that one, but I always wonder what Guy is doing, poking his torso nose into Mr Thornton's vid...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 23:39

I think he is there to hint at Mr Thornton's shirtless less inhibited persona, the essential ying and yang that embody Mr Thornton's striving towards Platonic intellectual improvement whilst at the same time yearning passionately and unreservedly for me Margaret.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 23:42

You mean that under the FWS there lurks a bit of a wolfie, eh Maudie. What a shiver-making thought.

And on that uplifting note, I must wish you all goodnight!
Sweet dreamz, ladiez

::Goes to peep inside Mr Thornton's FWS to check for signs of lycanthropy::

::ahem::

Good night!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/06/2011 00:06

:: Looks back at you::

I'm off to bed now too. Good night to anyone with more stamina than me.

Spiro, your gift (from the Spooks extras) is the bit where he is facing away but then turns to look right at you

Parents here to help later today so either have lots of time to get on with things or time to ignore things and play on here :)

TheSmallPrint · 08/06/2011 08:01

Play, play!

DumSpiroSpero · 08/06/2011 08:04

Here, here!

I don't actually like it when he does that on the dvd but I love that photo!

Washing out then it's off to work I go...!

PasstheTwiglets · 08/06/2011 09:23

Spiro, I sort of know what you mean - it is a bit staged. If it were Lucas doing it in character then it would floor me, but knowing it's the actor seems a bit... silly. Still love it to bits though :)

I am sad. Yesterday was great - DD didn't mind going back to school too much and DS was really happy to go to nursery and came out buzzing, saying he had a lovely time. So hurray thinks me, we've turned a corner with school and I was really looking forward to my mornings off and having some me time and enjoying this last year-and-a-bit with DS before he goes to school. But then this morning he was refusing to go, saying that he hates nursery and misses me too much, and she was sobbing her little heart out, begging me not to make her go in and we are back to square one. Sorry to unburden here, just letting off steam!!

In other news, I am pleased because I didn't diet at all (in fact went quite the other way) over half-term and was panicking that I'd put back on what I lost but I haven't, hurrah! So onwards and upwards with that (well, hopefully downwards, not upwards!)

LOL - we were face-painting yesterday and DD was making me into a tiger. She said "actually, it's extra realistic because the hair on your face looks like you have tiger's whiskers" Shock :o Time to get the old wax strips out, methinks :o

TheSmallPrint · 08/06/2011 09:47

You poor thing Twigs Sad, I have had simliar to you with the pre school. SBminor flew in yesterday but today refusing saying that no one plays with him and school is silly. SB Major has decided he feels sick today (seems OK to me Hmm) so is home.

Grin at the whiskers comment!! and hooray for no weight gain. I am going to try and shred again today. I couldn't do it yesterday as my legs were completely seized!

PasstheTwiglets · 08/06/2011 10:00

I meant to ask you how SBMinor was after the holidays! Maybe they both enjoyed the novelty value of going in yesterday but today the reality set in. Is he going every day, btw? Hope SBMajor is ok.

PasstheTwiglets · 08/06/2011 10:09

Has anybody seen bucakes' Jeremy Kyle video? Very funny indeed. .

TheSmallPrint · 08/06/2011 11:33

Oh that is so funny!! Grin

He does 4 days Twigs, going 5 from Sept.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/06/2011 18:51

Commiserations to anyone dealing with reluctant schoolgoers. I must be a repulsive mummy, as Girl has always been eager to go and thought it grossly unfair when some of her friends went in September and she had to wait until January.

TheSmallPrint · 08/06/2011 19:39

Where is everyone?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/06/2011 19:41

I'm sitting quietly on the chaise longoo, drinking all the Chateau Gizzy and eating all the twiglets.

TheSmallPrint · 08/06/2011 20:11

Shove up and share then. I have done my fitness DVD so I am feeling quite pious.

PasstheTwiglets · 08/06/2011 20:23

Bonsoir! Have absolutely nothing of any interest to report so will just leave you a pretty little objetd'art.

TheSmallPrint · 08/06/2011 20:25

Sitting quietly my eye, I know what you've been up to! Really Maud, I expect better.

TheSmallPrint · 08/06/2011 20:29

Thanks Twigs ( although I always think that photo has a touch of the Richard Madleys about it) .

PasstheTwiglets · 08/06/2011 20:30
TheSmallPrint · 08/06/2011 20:32

. Is that why he has his coat wrapped so tightly round him then?
