Strangers are friends you just haven't met, yet. Even when they are baddies and drive science-fiction-y submarines, wearing a smart grey lounge suit.

I thought Richard Armadidge wasn't so much Twiggy's Father Christmas as the gift-wrapped present she wanted to find at the foot of her bed on Christmas morning!

PassTheTwiglets · 12/05/2011 13:46
It wasn't that bad actually but I'm exhausted now as it was basically just walking around town for 3 hours. Horrified that the 7 year olds found this easier than I did :)

It was MissTwigs who had mentioned Mr Armadidge and he misheard her. I was on the PC this morning and she walked into the room saying "I bet Mummy will be looking at pictures of RA..." and she found it hysterical that I was and she then proceeded to dance around the room chanting "you want to kiiiiiiiis him, you want to kiiiiiiiiiiiis him, you want to kiiiiiiiiis him". I said "no I don't!" I want to do lots more than that and then Twigboy joined in and then asked his question after that.

And oh Maud, just imagine finding him in your stocking* on Xmas morning.

  • take that as a straight reply or as a double entre, as you like...
TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 13:53

I have has a very stressful last half hour and frankly could have done with a PSB to help. Luckily a hero happened to turn up and save the day. He did not look like this though, unfortunately.

Still I am extremely grateful for his intervention.

PassTheTwiglets · 12/05/2011 14:59

For Stressed Small and for Maud, just because!

SupermassiveLBD · 12/05/2011 15:28

So that is what you lot get up to without me when I decide to have a relatively early night. For health reasons, of course. Izzy wizzy, let's get Gizzy Wink

PMSL at the ''rabbit in the headlights'', Wham- dancing, TSFWNs, navy shirts etc.

And lthis morning, Mr Armadige and Twigs's dishonourable intentions. I wouldn't mind finding that in my stocking in any way you mention, on any morning of the year.

I haven't been on a school trip but I have been 'down the school' for a parents' meeting. Less said about that the better Blush

Twigs and Small, those last two pics of Lucas and Mr T were supremely clickable.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 15:34

Aren't they though? I have been clicking that Lucas all day long.

Twigs thanks for your pressie too, my stress is reducing, slowly.

Here's a bit more

TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 15:48

HAve we seen before? It's got a bit f Tom to go with it.

TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 15:53

SPOOKY ALERT.

Driving home today I was thinking about that thread which asks what are your favourite songs and I was thinking I love Joan Amatrading Weakness in Me and lo and behold guess what I just .

SupermassiveLBD · 12/05/2011 15:59

Clicking Clucas, did you say, Small?

I can't believe I hadn't seen that vid before. it was hilarious, thanks so much for the link, I laughed my socks off. I also laughed at one of the comments underneath it, which read thus:

^just for the record, there is NO way your panties would fit me......

Dunno where those odd characters came from-- medieval stuff perhaps. Confused

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 16:16

Hahahahaha at that comment Massive! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/05/2011 17:20

Oh I loooove Joan Armourplating. I've seen her twice in concert, y'know.

::Holds cigarette lighter aloft for Willow::

Twigster - I veeeery deliberately omitted any mention of stockings from my earlier post because I know you can't be trusted.

::Prim::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/05/2011 17:24

::Warbles::

I am not in love, but I'm open to persuasion.

TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 17:31

I nearly called her amourplating too Maud Grin. She played near me recently but I didn't go. My sister did though. I love Willow, that's another on my list.

I can be easily persuaded or do I mean lust? Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/05/2011 17:36

Speaking of Persuasion, I am reading it at the moment and remembered last night that dear old potato face Rupey from Twiggy's List of Lust played Captain Wentworth in the telly adaptation (one of the few period dramas I've missed). Was it any good? Should I track down a dvd of it?

PassTheTwiglets · 12/05/2011 18:11

Well now, Maud, funny you should ask. I didn't see it but I got it for either Xmas or my b'day but the video quality is just really, really bad. All grainy and horrible. I'm not sure if I have a duff copy but it put me off watching it. LOL at 'old potato face :o

SupermassiveLBD · 12/05/2011 18:37

And talking of old potato face, Grin I'm still around. but a bit disRActed by RL.

Back later I hope.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/05/2011 19:04

Yes, Massive, but The Man isn't all .... beige and colourless.

::Hides from the Twigster::

TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 19:55

Despite being biased in the old potato face RPJ front, it is good, I have the dvd and it's very good quality.

TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 21:06
SupermassiveLBD · 12/05/2011 21:07

I bet they would have this down at the ol' Island DVD trading post too. And yet I already have a pile of things I really really want to watch.

Talking of beige etc. I wonder if we'll ever see the Man with blond hair. After all, actors do that kind of thing. For their Art, innit?

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 12/05/2011 21:15

He sort of had blond hair in the John Bateman years didn't he?

SupermassiveLBD · 12/05/2011 21:16

It wasn't me either,Small. I was Otherwise Occupied.
You likee?

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 12/05/2011 21:18

What episode was that in, Small?

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 12/05/2011 21:22

OMG, I am glad I'm not a DT fan...
