Well, this should guarantee us some visitors if it comes up on 'Most Active'.

Ok, the next 2 aren't John Standring, but it would be rude not to...

My poor Gizzy, he never really gets a proper snog.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/03/2011 22:41

Yes, poor Gizzy. Poor, poor Gizzy.

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 22:43

Hah, Maud, I can hear you snickering Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 24/03/2011 22:43

Re. the most wibblesome moment, I looked everywhere to try and find that cringemongous video of him dancing but it's been taken down everywhere, the spoilsports :)

Right, TwigBoy is starting to stir, so I'd best be off to see what's up.

Night, everyone!

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 22:47

Night Twiggy, hope the little lad is okay.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/03/2011 22:49

No. I am not sniggering. I was just musing on the fact that only Mr Thornton and Claude have anything close to what one might regard as a successful relationship. I feel quite sorry for poor, tortured and unhinged Guy, torso issues notwithstanding.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/03/2011 22:54

I have a busy day tomorrow so am off to bed. Sweet dreams, everyone.

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 23:00

Nice arty pic. Once an Eagle...

Night, Maud, I shall head off too. Sweet dreams to you and everyone else still around.

DumSpiroSpero · 24/03/2011 23:37

I've missed all the fun Sad.

I was out this evening and didn't get a chance to check in before I went as I managed to drop my mobile down the (clean) loo - grrr!

The number of nights I've spent an hour or more on the bloody thing in the bath - I only went in to the 'spare' loo to get a loo roll with it in my hand and the bloody thing just jumped out, bounced off the shelf and splash!

Loving the pics - Maud you have excelled yourself on the Lucas front I must say, and as for that last one...

I've found you!!!!

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 24/03/2011 23:38

Dagnabit - everyone is going to bed!

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 23:49

Hello, ladies, I am still around, working at some other stuff for half an hour or so...

What will happen to your phone now, Spiro, is it salvageable?

TheSmallPrint · 25/03/2011 07:18

oh what a beautiful morning!.

The sun is shining and there are no fights between the small boys yet!

PassTheTwiglets · 25/03/2011 08:17

Morning gang.

Spiro - have you heard the thing about rice for drying phones out? Take it all apart and sit it in some dry rice, so it's completely covered. Apparently the rice absorbs the moisture and it can save a phone.

DumSpiroSpero · 25/03/2011 08:30

Morning ladies!

It currently appears I have an ex-phone Sad, but it has not completelyt dried out yet. I has moisture indicating pads that are still red and condensation inside the touch screen which I'm suspecting is not good, however...

...I have dropped several watches in the bath and they've all recovered after a day or two in the airing cupboard and have read some other stories of people who've done the same thing with the same phone and has turned out ok, so will not give up hope until Monday.

Had phone dismantled on a tea towel on a low radiator last night but no joy yet. Did see the rice thing on a website last night, so now you've suggested it as well Twigs will give it try.

Probably won't be around too much over the next couple of days as doing stuff with DD and no phone - aaaaargh!

Btw, can anyone suggest a good film me and DD can watch tonight? Needs to be old enough that I can get it on pay-per-view as I can't be bothered to trudge into town for Blockbusters. She likes all the usual High School Musical type stuff, so was wondering about Bandslam or Aliens in the Attic?

I has moisture indicating pads

That should be 'it' - obviously it is the phone that has moisture indicating pads, not me Grin!

PassTheTwiglets · 25/03/2011 09:15

LOL at you having moisture-indicating pads :o

I've not heard of those two films, so can't advise there I'm afraid. Has she seen Tangled? My DD loved that. Not sure if that's too recent though.

I have been a Horrible Mummy this morning - lots and lots of shouting. I hate that I have to say things 5 times and then end up shouting just to get them to do something! So I was planning a nice evening for DD, to make up for Monster Mummy this morning, also involving a film together. After we went to Disney I thought she'd love Pirates of the Caribbean but it's a 12 so I'm not sure how suitable it is. I can't remember anything I wouldn't want her to see in it - anybody think of anything?

I wonder if she would like to watch Ultimate Force? :)

PassTheTwiglets · 25/03/2011 09:15

Oh, did anybody see the baby name thread on Most Active, this morning? Somebody was asking about the name Lucas :)

TheSmallPrint · 25/03/2011 09:28

oh my link didn't work! should have been

PassTheTwiglets · 25/03/2011 09:41

Small, I guessed what it would be even without it working :)

Goodness, I have zero energy today. Can any of you lend me some of yours, please? I'll send it back when I'm done with it.

TheSmallPrint · 25/03/2011 09:43

Sorry twigs I'm all pooped myself, it was a hard night with Lucas in the back of a cab Wink

PassTheTwiglets · 25/03/2011 09:58

:) Small. Dammit, I know exactly the pic I want to link to now but I don't have time to search for it. But you know the one with him int he back of the car and his eyes are half-closed as if in ecstasy?

Did find this lovely one instead though.

Off to toddler gym with the boy now.

PassTheTwiglets · 25/03/2011 10:01

Hang on, here you go!

TheSmallPrint · 25/03/2011 10:23

Oh yes, I'm very familiar with that look now .

That lovely one was how he started out...

SupermassiveLBD · 25/03/2011 11:44

Just a post and run. Grin at the taxi pics. We are so bad aren't we?

CU L8R, I hope. xxx
