Well, this should guarantee us some visitors if it comes up on 'Most Active'.

one for the mantelpiece

Ok, the next 2 aren't John Standring, but it would be rude not to...

Gizzy and I may never, ahem, catch up, Maud. but we're having fun trying Grin

Glad the tellyless life isn't too much of a bind. I find I watch less and less nowadays but it's nice to have one there for DVD duty.

Nighty night again, and to anyone else wot's going.

PassTheTwiglets · 29/03/2011 22:04

Oooh, Small, it's not good - ouchy prices :(

I think 3 nights/4 days is the best option - it will be pretty busy and you won't get everything done if you only go for 2 nights/3 days. Here are the prices for the hotel I would choose (the one I told you about when I sent the info before - the Cheyenne). First price is for 2 nghts, 2nd price is for 3 nights:

Leaving on Monday 18th or Tuesday 19th it's £714 or £992.
Leaving on Wed 20th it's £642 or £892 .
Leaving on Thursday it's £571 or £956.

Staying at the cheapest hotel (Santa Fe) will save you between £10 and £40 in total, depending on the date, but I don't think it's worth it as the Cheyenne is MUCH nicer.

The above prices are just for the hotel & park tickets - transport is extra. I priced up the Eurostar for the Wednesday departure 3 night option and that brings the holiday total to £1225 (I think the Eurostar adds on about the same amount, regardless of date, so you're looking at adding on about £335 for the train - may be less if Smallboy Minor sits on your lap but I wouldn't recommend that).

You can price up various other date/travel combinations easily here

Oh and if you sign up with topcashback.co.uk you can get a sizeable chunk back and it doesn't cost you anything to do - I think it you would get about £50-70. Oh and if you're going to sign up with them then please let me know, as I can earn extra cashback by sending you my referral link :)

Hope all that helps!

Your wish is my command, Small

::wafts off to bed with a soppy smile on her face::

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 22:09

I just watched it Maud, I want to cry!

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 22:10

Twigs thank you sooooo much for your extensive research!! I will review with DH, if we have any questions can I PM you?

PassTheTwiglets · 29/03/2011 22:15

Of course, Small - PM away!

Massive, here is RPJ's silly hair

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 22:18

Hmm Twiggy, is it my imagination or is he getting a higher forehead? The barrister's bands thingy looks quite cravat-like though.

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 22:19

Sorry that was rude of me.

PassTheTwiglets · 29/03/2011 22:21

I think you're right about the forehead, Massive. Hadn't noticed it before.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 22:24

I have just watched the station scene. I Need To Be Kissed By Mr Thornton!!!!!!! Do you think he would have me?

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 22:27

I don't know, Small. I am sure Mr Thornton is as much yours as anybody's. If we don't tell Maud Grin I was just thinking when I saw that last pic she posted, what a kissable kisser he possesses.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 22:30

It's the intensity I think along with those beautiful eyes and that lovely mouth .

PassTheTwiglets · 29/03/2011 22:33

I don't the station kiss will ever be bettered, will it? It's that wibbly mouth, it really shows you what he's feeling and it's just... well, it's just.... well there are no words, are there? Small I am thudding with you and I'm not even watching it!

PassTheTwiglets · 29/03/2011 22:34

Yes yes, the intensity! That's what it is!

IF?

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 22:35

Better than close your eyes?

Poor old Gizzy never gets much of a chance to show us any talent he has Sad

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 22:36

Twigs you'll have to watch it again..

JohnThorntonofMiltonNorthern · 29/03/2011 22:42

Ladies.

You are most kind in your remarks.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 22:43

Twigs you'll have to watch it again..

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 22:45

Or twice even!

. Hello Mr Thornton

(industrial fan).

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 22:46

Ah, the charming Mr Thornton. How pleasant to see you sir. Do give this young lady here a sample of your wares, she would like to see if they taste as good as they look.

JohnThorntonofMiltonNorthern · 29/03/2011 22:46

Miss Small.

How do you do?

Oooh, Mr Thornton! (hopes that doesn't sound like 'oooh matron'). Ta for the hand-kiss, love - very nice and all but I think us girls have another sort of kiss in mind. A nice, wibbly one, if you please. Look, we've formed a nice, orderly queue...

IF - aha :) Another Academy classic in the making.

Massive, "close your eyes" was my most wibblicious moment but it keeps reversing the pole position with the Wibbly Station Kiss. Tell you what, Mr Thornton and Lucas, re-create both scenes with me and I'll make up my mind for definite :)
