Well, this should guarantee us some visitors if it comes up on 'Most Active'.

one for the mantelpiece

Ok, the next 2 aren't John Standring, but it would be rude not to...

yummy!

TheSmallPrint · 26/03/2011 21:26

Hmm, where is everyone? right, guess Im drinking alone tonight. Wine Wine Wine

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/03/2011 21:27

Oh, hello Small.

::snatches floppy white shirt away and hides it in her commodious reticule, smiling wistfully as she does so::

I'm quite sure I didn't stomp on your foot - if I had, there wouldn't have been any question about whether I had or not.

::diet starts tomorrow emoticon::

So, who are the Tetley tea folk? Is this your disrespectful way of referring to your chosen life partner's nearest and dearest?

::Proffers Chateau Gizzy::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/03/2011 21:27

Patience, my dear Small, Here, have some more Wine.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/03/2011 21:29

Now I know you've got a bad foot at the moment but...

floppy white shirt, black t shirt and prada shirt

...that's just greedy!

Evening all!

Nearly found myself in an embarrassing predicament at my mum's earlier - she picked up my mobile and very nearly opened that photo of Lucas - I can just imagine the conversation:

Ma Spiro: "What a peculiar photo, Spiro, what on earth made you download that?"

Spiro: "Erm...er....Blush"

We have been watching 'Hot Tub Time Machine' this evening (yes, I know), and what should turn up on the soundtrack, but

G'day cobber (wonders whether Maid has watched Oz yet)

Yes indeed that is who I am referring to. They get through a lot of tea.

Who else was stomping earlier? My foot feels stomped on. It hurts a lot and the drugs are not working.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/03/2011 21:37

Hello, Spiro. I think Small was complaining that other people had littered the common room with evidence of their, ahem, dalliances on the chaise longue.

Forgive me being dim, but which Lucas photo are we speaking about? There are quite a few that one's mater might find rather surprising, I imagine. I have never heard of Hot Tub Time Machine, but have just learnt from Wikipedia that John Cusack is in it so assume it can't be so bad.

TheSmallPrint · 26/03/2011 21:40

SpiroSHkipiro I didn't mean that I had stuffed them there no matter how much I may have wanted to

Did you mean the footwell photo (as I shall now always think of it!!!)?
Can't open your clip, what was it?

TheSmallPrint · 26/03/2011 21:41

Not sure what happens to your name there Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/03/2011 21:43

Small. Will you please stop asking whether I've seen Oz? Every telly in this house is kaput and the nation's favourite department store has messed up the delivery of the humongous new TV on which I was hoping to get better acquainted with the Drover and his pecs emotional dilemmas.

::sobs loudly into linen hankie which, on closer inspection, turns out to be a floppy white shirt::

If your foot has been stomped on I suggest you extract a confession from the SmallBoys and ask what they were doing while you were in a Polish-cordial-induced stupor.

PassTheTwiglets · 26/03/2011 21:44

Small, if your foot is that bad, maybe you should be looking for an orange jumpsuit?

Spiro, funny about your soundtrack coinkidink! I had one too, today. DCs were at a party and a was on during pass-the-parcel.

TheSmallPrint · 26/03/2011 21:49

Sorry Maud, hope it's worth the wait, I fear I may now have built up unrealistic expectations in you.

I think Smallboys may have caused the orginal foot injury but today it has suddenly got worse . I need the doctor Twigs!!

TheSmallPrint · 26/03/2011 21:50
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/03/2011 21:51

You know what's coming, don't you?

Small is in pain but, fear not, help is on its way. Thunderbirds are go!

::Passes the Wine to Twiggy::

PassTheTwiglets · 26/03/2011 21:52

I watched (well, fast-forwarded through) Ultimate Force tonight. It started off awful, then became hilarious because of the awfulness then reverted back to just awful. Thank it was only £1.27! I think any DVD where, instead of the running time, it says "over 4. hours of action!" isn't going to be good. As if Ross Kemp weren't enough of a clue :) I did enjoy mocking it though!

Maud, don't suppose you ever saw Matador at the thee-ay-ter, did you?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/03/2011 21:53

And, just to be sensible for a moment [perish the thought]. Have you got one of those elastic socky things, Small? I find they do help with annoying foot and ankle injuries. Perhaps Dr Track has one in his emergency doctor supplies.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/03/2011 21:55

Ok then Small - will let you off! Have you tried putting a wheat bag on your foot, or is it better cold than hot?

Twigs - that's a slightly racey choice for kids pass the parcel (I thought it was just me that did those sort of compilations forDD's birthday parties).

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 26/03/2011 21:55

Awww, Smallio :( I'm sure the good doctor will soon adminster to you.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/03/2011 21:56

Twigs - did you get to the last epsiode of UF?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/03/2011 21:58

'Fraid not, Twiggy. If I hadn't just looked it up I would never have heard of it. 'Tis very rarely that Bloke will consent to see a musical, as he prefers Shakespeare and classical thee-ay-ter. We saw Carousel at the NT but (sadly) not Oklahoma with the lovesome Mr Jackman.

TheSmallPrint · 26/03/2011 21:59

Do you think mouth to mouth is an appropriate treatment for a sore foot?

I have tendonitis apparently and I don't think compression is good for it. Cold probably is but I am a wus so won't do that, I will just complain and hope it goes away with the help of Voltarol.

PassTheTwiglets · 26/03/2011 22:00

No, Spiro - but I'm guessing I should :) I just skimmed through the 2nd episode.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/03/2011 22:01

Last episode is horrible

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/03/2011 22:07

Perhaps he would begin with a little therapeutic foot massage, Small?

DumSpiroSpero · 26/03/2011 22:12

Cold probably is but I am a wus so won't do that

tbh I don't think I would either.

And while we're on the subject of Cold Feet...
