::Offers Massive a restorative Polish cordial with Polish cordial chaser::

Here, recline on the battered Chesterfield and drink this. I think the consensus was that there were some good bits in Cold Feet despite the presence of JN.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 21:35

Thanks, Maud, does that come with a pint -- of Polish cordial?

I still think I'll order The Impressionists next,as being a bit more educational. Although from that vid, CF looks as if it could double as an exercise DVD.

The high definition is very nice...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/03/2011 21:42

The Impressionists is tres educatif. Perhaps you could persuade the Superboys to develop an interest in art history?

::Pigs might fly, if the Superboys are in any way typical of their gender, emoticon::

SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 21:43

Glad you are enjoying it, Phoenix. How are you now, better I hope?

DumSpiroSpero · 21/03/2011 22:05

I did have a good one, but couldn't post it as phone went haywire. I'm guessing mumsnetting in the bath is not such a good idea Hmm but seems to have dried out now!

How is everyone this evening?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/03/2011 22:08

Tired and sniffing (and not in a Gizzy way). I'm going to have an early night, so good night all.

Booooing!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 22:09

I am knackered, thanks Spiro, otherwise everything is tickety-boo. Grin

Night night Maud. Sorry to hear about the sniffing.
I hope you are not coming down with a cold.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 22:11

Golly what scintillating posts I'm making tonight, do excuse me, ladies.

DumSpiroSpero · 21/03/2011 22:16

Sounds like we're all flagging. I just nodded off on the sofa for a bit and H went to bed about an hour ago.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 22:18

I bet if the character of our choice walked past us, we wouldn't even notice, tonight! Not even if he had spurs and stompy boots.

THanks Massive, I'm ok when I am up and about, but I wake in the morning with a very sore neck still.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/03/2011 22:19

Do I look rugged from this angle?

::runs away, sniffing::

SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 22:27

Do I look rugged from this angle
Carry on for a few more seconds, luv, and I'll tell you.

Naughty Maud, really, and when I'm all worn out, too.

OP posts:
PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 21/03/2011 22:34

That's very cheeky Maud...

Rugged or what?

DumSpiroSpero · 21/03/2011 22:36

wakey wakey!

Grin
DumSpiroSpero · 21/03/2011 22:37

That is stunning Phoenix!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 22:41

Are those eyelashes on the left, Phoenix, or the ends of his hair?

That is the episode that dares not speak its name, is it not?

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 22:46

Grin Spiro! That was quite an eye-opener...

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 21/03/2011 22:49

Grin yes indeedy.

Phone about to run out of juice so will say TTFN.

Sweet dreams!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/03/2011 22:51

Night Spiro, night, all, from me!

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 22/03/2011 00:03

Not eyelashes...

PassTheTwiglets · 22/03/2011 07:18

Morning, ladiez. Some great photos there - I will pass them on and let you know what she says. I have definitely enjoyed the evidence :) A brave attempt at trying to class Mr Thornton as rugged, Maud :o

What is 'the episode that dare not speak its name'? I haven't watched RH for a fair while (congrats on HiDef RA, btw, Phoenix!*) We are a few episodes into S2 a the moment. I'm in no rush to get to Yeti Guy, tbh.

Spiro, I did LOL at your 'wakey wakey caption :) Yes, Cold Feet has some wonderful bits - but personally I don't like the Speedo bits very much! I much prefer the boxer-shorts style of swimwear to the Speedo-style, leave nothing to the imagination style. Although, of course, there is always [[http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zacBVDDw-V0/SonZXYP5Z7I/AAAAAAAAAMY/PrD4-4ADz8U/s400/DanielCraig.jpg the exception that proves the rule).

I am about half an hour into The Impressionists (DrTwiglets wants to know when they're going to do Frank Spencer :o) and really enjoying it. It's aesthetically very pleasing (and I don't mean 'cos of The Man).

  • I've just amused myself by wondering what my mother would make of that parenthetical sentence, as she has just about grasped 'LOL'.
