Just in case no one opens a better one

Theresa, the "look into my eyes" thing was from

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/01/2011 21:54

Did you like Little Britain, Twiggy? It was a little on the weird side for me.

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 10/01/2011 21:59

I quite liked it, yes, but it wasn't must-see TV for me. But then I like weird :)

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/01/2011 22:02

It was those ''ladies'' with the facial hair that creeped me out.

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 10/01/2011 22:25

I like weird but Little Britain was a curate's egg for me. I but it was the vomiting racist old ladies who repelled me.

Right - that's my hour on the Wii fit done. Today my wf age actually matches my real one for the first time ever (God knows how!).

Peaches, there will indeed be more Santa - a story for each of us detailing (not too extensively Grin) what we do with our clones once we get our sticky mitts on them!

If you have a preference let me know. Am afraid Lucas, Thornton & Gizzy are already spoken for, but Lee, Harry, John's Porter & Standring and Guy Thornton-North are all still on the table, so to speak Wink!

Can't help but wonder what Uthred would have made of the 21st century?

Uthred in the 21st century would be a fascinating subject, Mrs LN. Must listen to LOTN again.

'' Lee, Harry, John's Porter & Standring and Guy Thornton-North are all still on the table, so to speak ''

Mind you, I think Lee would be having a Judith Starkadder moment, after Mrs Claus's ministrations.

Come up and see my etchings

MrsLucasNorth · 10/01/2011 22:36

I know what my Dad's getting for his birthday!

Although that does rely on my holding out until April Hmm

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/01/2011 22:37

Who would refuse that face, Techno?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/01/2011 22:38

Not an audiobook by any chance, MrsLN?

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 10/01/2011 22:40

I know, Theresa. I've been in his bedroom studio.

::shameless hussy::

MrsLucasNorth · 10/01/2011 22:42

No - he's really into Art and we saw the Monet exhibition at the Royal Academy some years back so I'm sure he'd appreciate a dvd on the subject!

We're going on a day's life drawing workshop together soon - that was his Christmas pressie!

MrsLucasNorth · 10/01/2011 22:45

Theresa - I confess I had to check out Judith Starkadder on wiki.

Cold Comfort Farm looks interesting - will have to add it to my book list. Can't help wonder if whoever created the Single family on Emmerdale used CCF as a starting point though...!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/01/2011 22:45

Really, Techno? I know you can visit those gardens, which I would love to do. I haven't been to France for quite a while...

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 10/01/2011 22:46

I mean Dingle family, of course!

MrsLucasNorth · 10/01/2011 22:48

I mean Dingle family, of course!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/01/2011 22:49

Oh, I see, MrsLN what a great idea! Won't your parents begin to join up the dots with all this before too long?

Did wiki mentione the 'squeezed rind' quote, I checked afterwards in the hope it was there, but couldn't find it.

Parents are in on it. I get all my Amazon goodies delivered there!

Will say goodnight now as phone about to conk out. Party 8-ish tomorrow?

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 10/01/2011 22:57

Yes, I have. I have been in Monet's boudoir. Twice or possibly thrice. More to the point, as I am a fanatical gardener ::looks gloomily at state of fingernails after this afternoon's session:: I have been in the gardens twice or possibly thrice. 'Tis merveilleux.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/01/2011 22:57

Goodnight then MrsLN. See you tomorrow!

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 10/01/2011 22:57

Some alternative sweet dreams for you.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 10/01/2011 22:58

Nighty night, MrsLN. See you at tomorrow's soiree.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/01/2011 23:03

Oh, lovely, Techno. It's only recently I realised those gardenss still exist, I saw them on the telly and then some former neighbours back home said oh, yes, they had been, when I mentioned the fact. Envy

I bet the real Monet, though a genius, wasn't half as sweet as ours, however. Even with the dreaded squirrel on the chin..
