Welcome to our newest faculty building. Make yourselves comfortable and ignore the smell of paint. We cannot keep up with the demand for new premises.

And what about the sneaky
''Psssst! Others who purchased your Armitage related item also purchased these other 397 choices''

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 16/12/2010 23:09

Off to bed now. Night, all. Sweet dreams!

PassTheTwiglets · 16/12/2010 23:11

Holly, ha!, we are probably collectively responsible for the "here's what others purchased" ads!

Theresahollyinyourmind · 16/12/2010 23:14

Ah, truly the stuff that dreams are made on, Twiggy.

If it's true about those ads, I have to share reponsability, I suppose what with my LOTN and Venetia.

Good night!

Yes, beware, Holly. The slippy paralysed mousefinger virus (SPMFV1 for short) may even now be wriggling down the broadband connection to infect Limpopoland. Fortunately I've done quite a lot of Christmas shopping online, so the psssst! messages should be so mixed as to throw people off the scent. But I suppose it's also lucky for me that, although I may be firmly In The Closet as far as my RL friends are concerned, I am Out to the only people who are likely to go near this computer.

More chateau Gizzy, anyone?

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 16/12/2010 23:19

Sweet dreams, Twiggy!

And, as I crave an early night, it's goodnight from me and goodnight from him.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 16/12/2010 23:22

Fill 'er up!

I wonder how many divorces have been occasioned by those pssst! messages.

I think I need to swig this down and head up to bed. All that RL socialising was knackering. I've given the nightingale the night off, too, because of the rain.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 16/12/2010 23:27

Goodnight and sweet dreams to him and to you, Missy

I've just found out that Tom & Zoe from Spooks are married in RL!!! They fell in love on set, apparently.

MrsLucasNorthPole · 17/12/2010 08:21

Did you not know that Twigs? She was married to someone else at the time...
The girl that played Jo also met her (now ex) husband on set of Spooks

PassTheTwiglets · 17/12/2010 09:26

No, I had no idea! I thought it was really sweet until I read that she'd only been married 8 weeks at the time. Yikes.

I haven't seen Jo yet as I think she's in S4 and we're still on S3.

How are you today then, MrsLNP? Last day at school here for DD - other kids finishing today?

StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 09:45

Mording, I have a full on cold. I am not happy.

StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 10:04

I am feeling rotten so have been cheering myself up with a few old favourites

and .

There are some beautiful shots of Mr Thornton in that first one. I have been considering matters this morning and I vote that the most thud inducing RA looks is as Mr Thornton and Lucas in the Russian episodes of Spooks.

PassTheTwiglets · 17/12/2010 10:05

Poor Stripes :( Look on the bright side though, at least it will be finished by Xmas.

Someone is coming to make you feel better, as quickly as he can

StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 10:48

Thanks twigs but can you make him run here faster Grin.

StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 10:49

I have just found this outtake clip of the Impressionists which has made me giggle (just infectious laughter)

StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 10:59

ooh I just read here that RA originally wanted to be an architect!! I knew we must have something in common. Xmas Grin

Theresahollyinyourmind · 17/12/2010 11:35

Morning all. Don't take offence, Stripey, but I am so glad he didn't end up as an architect! What a massive loss to womankind that would have been.

Well I have sort of finished listening to Venetia and as LOTN arrived a day or so ago, I had a peek at the first few seconds.
You certainly get an intellectual experience along with your thuds, with Mr Armitage. The reading opens with a long quote from Beowolf -- in the original Old English.

OP posts:
Theresahollyinyourmind · 17/12/2010 11:39

Oh swoon! I too have something in common with him -- A level English!
Another swoon, his favourite drink is -- Polish Corddial!!! We must have known it!

OP posts:
StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 11:48

Yes but if he had done architecture I could be working with him now!! Although I suspect that if he were just a normal bloke I wouldn't give him a second glance Xmas Grin

StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 11:50

Actually that's bobbins, he's tall, dark and handsome with beautiful blue eyes and a voice that sends you knees to jelly, I would definately have my eye on him.

StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 11:51

Music and Eng Lang A levels wouldn't have got him very far in this profession though. Hmm

Theresahollyinyourmind · 17/12/2010 11:57

I was wondering last night how much it would cost to go on Amazon and buy everything they had on RA. The answer is 223.45 pounds -- no pound sign on this particular keyboard.

I already have some of this, of course. But it doesn't include the proper version of LOTN-- they list an abridged version read by someone else, which is confusing.

StripeyMoon · 17/12/2010 12:10

OMG it's properly snowing here now, really heavy and settling. Double Bah Humbug!
