Welcome to our newest faculty building. Make yourselves comfortable and ignore the smell of paint. We cannot keep up with the demand for new premises.

Needed it OMG, even my connection popped!
Where did you find that? the other girls will flip when they see that tomorrow morning

How did I find it? It was a word-association thing from Tainted Love and other songs of my yoof. I thought it was going to be another series of shirtless Guy moments and then it turned into something else. We'd better have the good doctor on duty tomorrow morning.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 15/12/2010 01:23

And a lot worse! All good clean fun.
Well, I am off to sit in a bucket of ice.
Wishing you a peaceful night

I think I shall calm myself by gazing on the stern countenance of Mr Thornton before retiring.

A demain.

PassTheTwiglets · 15/12/2010 06:54

Did you girls leave the heating on last night? It's very hot in here.

PassTheTwiglets · 15/12/2010 06:59

Oh, MrsLNP, you asked which spooks I follow - nearly all of them and most of the hangers on :) They really aren't all teenagers, Holly - only Lucas is like that.

The Twitter JP's jeans pic was amazing :)

MrsLucasNorthPole · 15/12/2010 07:32

Phew, Missy! What a way to start a Wednesday morning...Shock

Morning all.

PassTheTwiglets · 15/12/2010 09:31

I think medical attention should always be summoned - just to be on the safe side. Our collective fevers did spike worryingly high after your vid last night.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 15/12/2010 09:42

It's strange about that vid - it is (like so many of them) largely composed of the same old clips - but it does seem quite, ahem, emotive. It must be the effect of the Walrus of Love growling in the background.

Lightbulb moment>> Maybe I don't need to do the ironing this morning. I could just hold the stuff in front of the 'puter screen and the heat would get all the creases out.

PassTheTwiglets · 15/12/2010 09:46

LOL, Missy! My ironing was done by 7am this morning [awake too early emoticon]

Right, busy busy day here, so kick me off MN if you see me! School play with my little angel (ironic casting) then dancing show then castle open evening... phew!

StripeyMoon · 15/12/2010 09:49
asmallbunchofmistletoe · 15/12/2010 09:51

Ah. We've had our school play (tres tres rock and roll) and dance performance (tres tres Gene Kelly). So good luck with yours.

Castle open evening?

StripeyMoon · 15/12/2010 09:56

We went to our school play yesterday. It was terrible even by primary school standards! Half the children have been off sick and not learnt their lines, the other half were off sick and teachers were shouting the lines from the seats. Oh the things we put up with for our offspring.

Obviously DSs lines were perfect. Xmas Wink

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 15/12/2010 10:00

Oh dear, Stripey! I sometimes think that the direness of school plays is The Truth That Dare Not Speak Its Name. In ours, each class did a turn. Some were, ahem, unique. We have a Pop Star amongst our parents and my friend and I were wondering whether he could be prevailed upon to take things in hand next year.

StripeyMoon · 15/12/2010 10:04

I agree Missy but this years was truely special.

Pop star? Ooh anyone exciting? Apparently we have a well known model but I haven't noticed her. Unless of course they are all talking about me?Xmas Grin.

StripeyMoon · 15/12/2010 10:05

How do you spell truely / truly - neither look right.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 15/12/2010 10:09

I think we had the same problems. Some of Offspring's classmates were obviously lip-not-quite-synching in true pop fashion because they didn't know the words. The class has been very depleted recently by illness, so rehearsals must have been limited.

Well, I find our Pop Star very exciting. It's a notch up from Offspring's first school, where we had a Friend of a Pop Star and much debate about whether it would be too impertinent to ask him to open the summer fete. I was thinking about this the other day - given the number of slebs who live in London, I guess most London schools can lay claim to one or two.

PassTheTwiglets · 15/12/2010 10:12

We have a castle in our town and every Christmas they open for free. It's hideous though - really crowded! Just saves having to pay £15 to let the sprogs in. Parents coming today though so am hoping to persuade them to take DD and let me stay home!

A pop star?! Oooh, give us a clue!

Stripey ('truly', btw) how funny about the teachers shouting out the lines.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 15/12/2010 10:12

Truly. As in Truly, Madly, Deeply.

(That image was screened as part of our commitment to diversity).

StripeyMoon · 15/12/2010 10:13

It's not Matt Cardle is it??? Xmas Wink

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 15/12/2010 10:14

Nah, can't give clue. Not fair to him and might lead to identification of school, Offspring and self. But I can (almost) guarantee you've heard of him.
