Welcome to the new common room! Grab yourself some Twiglets and a glass of Chateau Gisborne or some Polish Cordial and come on in - the water's lovely!

Oh no. Another Unauthorised Spousal Deletion of Armitagiana incident. Still, it'll no doubt be on again soon.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/12/2010 23:31

Oh, yes, Flowers, he gives good sinister does our Mr A. I do hope they wouldn't make him have the same kind of tache as dear Larry in the original. I think that was the last straw for me, yucky yuck.

Then I would be all on Mr de Winters side, I am ashamed to say.

Who would play Mrs. Mk II do you think. Lucky cow. Envy

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/12/2010 23:35

Laughed my socks off at ''Unauthorised Spousal Deletion of Armitagiana''
You can imagine it coming up as a matter for the Serious Crime Squad on some cop show or other

MrsLucasNorth · 03/12/2010 23:37

Well it was authorised, to be fair. Didn't dare protest too much - can do without a lecture on behaving like a 14 year old...

The second Mrs de Winter? Well, if you insist, I could make myself available.

As you know, I am not averse to facial hair. The rehabilitation of the moustache.

MrsLucasNorth · 03/12/2010 23:39

Sorry - phone playing up.

MrsLucasNorth · 03/12/2010 23:41

Anyhoo...
...since I've been thrown over in favour of the Ashes think I will tootle off to bed with an audiobook.

Night, night ladies!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/12/2010 23:42

Egad! A man who can even make a caterpillar on his top lip look good!

I take it all back. In spades.

.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/12/2010 23:43

Night Mrs LN. What are we listening to tonight?

Bodenbabe · 03/12/2010 23:44

Grown-ups are overreated, MrsLN - I've been a 14 year old since... well, since I was 14.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofflowers · 03/12/2010 23:44

Does MrLN really tell you off? The Poet is willing (it seems) to humour me. Perhaps he sees himself as responsible, as he bought me North and South. And now Offspring is caught up in it, as she was bemoaning tonight that we'll run out of RH after series 3. I haven't dared tell her that Marian dies (let alone that Guy kills her) at the end of series 2. It's up there with Father Christmas as the Great Evasion.

Bodenbabe · 03/12/2010 23:46

Theresa, no no no, no caterpillars! Ick!

Night MrsLN. Sweet dreams

I think my DH finds it funny. At least I hope he does :)

Good night, MrsLN.

Further rehabilitation of the moustache.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/12/2010 23:53

Really Boden? I have always loathed moustaches, but really I think he looks very dashing. Remember the old saying
Kissing a man withut a moustache is like eating an egg without salt

Bodenbabe · 03/12/2010 23:53

Ewwwwwwwwwwww no no no, Flowers. NO. I to the C to the K.

Well it has been noticed that i have been RA squealing for hours and,ás we probably have Day From Hell awaiting us tomorrow, I really ought to retire. Night everyone - don't study too late!

Night Boden. A peaceful night to you.

asmallbunchofflowers · 03/12/2010 23:59

Oh dear Boden. Let me explain. The thing about a moustache is that it draws attention to the mouth. The first one is (I admit) a little flimsy but (as Theresa says) dashing nonetheless. The second one is really quite swoonsome, although the look of artistic passion and intensity helps too.

Enjoy your trip tomorrow.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/12/2010 00:00

He doesn't tell me off. We are v. different - he is all realism and I am a dreamer. I suspect he is well aware of my adolescent crush but if it were to come up in conversation he would no doubt be very disparaging and patronizing and tbh I like my little bubble so would rather it didn't. He doesn't know about the writing either.

Does feel slightly like I've got a bit on the side though - perhaps that's part of the attraction of keeping it secret Grin!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/12/2010 00:01

Even I think that billy goat beard was a bit too much, but that can always be sorted out with a bit of fun with shaving soap and a razor, shame to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/12/2010 00:04

Guy of Gisborne, my bit on the side.

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/12/2010 00:08

Yes, the tuft-that's-not-even-a-goatee is just odd.

I think it's time for a late night vid. I don't think we have critiqued this one before. It's silly, the picture quality is not magnificent, .

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/12/2010 00:14

Mr Thornton, my not quite perfect gentleman.

A gentleman is one who puts more into the world than he takes out. George Bernard Shaw
