Welcome to the new common room! Grab yourself some Twiglets and a glass of Chateau Gisborne or some Polish Cordial and come on in - the water's lovely!

Sorry am behind again. Flowers, goodness, of course I wouldn't approve of what Lovelace did! He behaved utterly despicably. And yet... it's just That Voice. I felt totally the same as you, Holly - quite shocked at my reaction to it. I still maintain that some of us are biased - we have heard That Voice too many times to not thud instinctively and in spite of what we are hearing.

I was going to ask what all this business about Crinkles was but I Googled and found the answer. came up by way of explanation.

Theresa's leather photo - ooooh, that led directly on to a still of my favourite, [[
www.richardarmitagenet.com/images/gallery/RobinHood/album/seasontwo/Episode6/slides/rh206_060.html the Fringe Flop]] Lovely!

lovelyopaque · 09/12/2010 19:04

Properly excited now. Have just chucked dc upstairs lovingly put them to bed, and checked and I have 4 whole series 7 episodes waiting for me. That's my day sorted tomorrow!

PassTheTwiglets · 09/12/2010 19:06

Gosh, I didn't know RH was on Watch too! Will ahve to have a look at that, thanks for the heads-up.

Oyster, I'd be interested in your Twitter list too.

Good Lord, look what I've just found! I was amused by the dream job topic and was Googling for a picture for my job when this little curio came up :o

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 09/12/2010 19:07

Tee hee. The fringe flop photo also contains what The Poet sneeringly described as the Medieval Armani Jumper. You're quite right, Twiglet, about how the habit can become ingrained.

Holly - Where did you buy Venetia? I hope it's not bobbing up and down soggily in the Limpopo.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 19:08

Bloomin' YT have decided they won't let me work on that vid, Missy. Looks like we're back to giuchie giuchie ya ya dada.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 09/12/2010 19:12

Goodness me, Twiglet. Whatever search terms did you use, to unearth that?

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 19:19

I guess the crocs must have eaten the Amazon messenger who was carrying it in his forked stick, Missy. One of the hazards of an expat's life.

I hope you told the Poet that Guy can't afford Armani on his salary and all his clothes come from the Locksley branch of Ye Gappe.

I have just choked on a Limpopian twiglet analogue on perusing Twiggy's Crinkle document. And had to ''explain'' unbridled mirth while sitting at a laptop reading the New York Times.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 19:22

Well I suppose the vest was Dolce and Gabbana, at least, Missy.

PrairieOyster · 09/12/2010 19:24

For a full education about Crinkles you do have to take a look at The Crinkle Zone on C19, I'm afraid....so you can recognise a quad when you see one, for instance, amongst other things.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 09/12/2010 19:26

I have explained to The Poet about Ye Gappe, yes.

Hmm. Does the NYT have funnies? I want to retract my last comment on Twiggy's find, which broke my self-imposed rule about only discussing the screen personae and not The Man himself.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 19:27

This fangirl thing has a whole lot more to it than I realised, Oyster.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 09/12/2010 19:28

Be careful, Holly. Once you join the cult, you'll never be able to leave.

MrsLucasNorthPole · 09/12/2010 19:28

I'm getting Spooks 7 for Xmas - yippee!

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 19:37

Does the NYT have funnies? I dunno, I am only hiding behind it.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 09/12/2010 19:41

Hmm. I think we are indeed in the shallow end of Armitage research, despite the intensity of our studies. I am wary of getting out of my depth.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 19:45

Oyster, no offence intended to you, my dark side is the shark, rather than outside influences.

PrairieOyster · 09/12/2010 19:48

For the uninitiated this offers something of an explanation of The Crinkle Zone...

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 19:53

Are you ready for this, ladies? I have my own crinkles So there!

Trouble is, on me they are far from cute.

PrairieOyster · 09/12/2010 19:58

I'm stepping out for a couple of hours now, later....

PS did you see the (I think) Womans Weekly article today about being a donkey in Nativity plays... I'm sure it's on all the fansites by now.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 09/12/2010 20:00

Perhaps, Holly, we should start our own blog to show off our crinkles. I'm sure Mr Armitage many thousands of people would join.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 20:04

Seeya. Oyster. Egad, being a donkey is worse than being third angel in a few yards of cheesecloth and a silver paper star on a piece of elastic.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 20:08

Show off your crinkles
Start flashing them now
Show off your crinkles
And the fellas you will wow..

Somehow I don't think ours will have quite the same cachet though, Missy.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 09/12/2010 20:17

Oh, I dunno. I am a real stunner, me.

.
MrsLucasNorthPole · 09/12/2010 20:24

Don't think it's the same WW article I've just come across, but how ironic is it that his parents are John & Margaret Xmas Smile

Theresahollyinyourmind · 09/12/2010 20:30

Nice coincidence, MrsLNP, but not as ironic as that poor Guy Gisborne in the Telegraph today Xmas Grin

Obviously, Missy, someone at YT is jealously keeping your charms under wraps cos again it refuses me a look at your vid.
