And here are our study materials for the evening. Not sure if we've had them before, but have tried to find new ones - is getting trickier Grin!

Enjoy!

Semi-smiley Lucas

So where are Lucas' black shirts from then? Prada or Belstaff (never heard of the latter). Price depending, enquiring minds need to know :)

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 17/11/2010 23:00

Oyster - I like that vid (to the extent of putting Muse on my Christmas list) although the pace is a bit frantic.

Well, Theresa, there isn't much distance between pain and death. I cared about Lucas - his death was tragic and moving and I don't have a heart of stone - but I did not like him.

And I am mucho amused by the fashion rehabilitation of the Belstaff jacket. Aeons ago, when boyfriend had a Belstaff, it was the deeply uncool garment that one wore if one didn't want to be picking gravel out of one's limbs for weeks after coming off the motorbike. Now they have a boutique off Regent Street.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 17/11/2010 23:02

I am sure he would value that far more than a passel of squealy fans and daily coverage in Hello Magazine

Well, I don't claim to be clairvoyant, but I'm guessing that if he had any interest in baring his soul in that august journal, he would have done so by now.

Thw word on the streets is Prada shirts and Belstaff jacket (see comments above).

Theresaholeinyourmind · 17/11/2010 23:04

Belstaff do casual jackets and stuff mainly but look here

I think the suits are Armani, but the jeans and shirts? LeQueen is our fashion guru, she would be able to tell us more.

PrairieOyster · 17/11/2010 23:04

I did like Lucas - even at the end

This photo always cheers me up though...

PrairieOyster · 17/11/2010 23:06

That photo has him in last year's Belstaff jacket BTW

Bodenbabe · 17/11/2010 23:09

£850 for a jacket?!?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I think not. Assume the Prada shirts are just as bad but foolishly going to Google anyway...

This may be out of date now, for Hobbity reasons, but read this from an article in September: "...there are also vague plans for him to tread the boards in something resembling doublet and hose next year."

PrairieOyster · 17/11/2010 23:10

Worth every penny IMHO - Spooks 9.2 - oh be still my beating heart....

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 17/11/2010 23:10

Yeah, that was a reference to The Rover. Perhaps he can fit it in between Hobbitty filming?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 17/11/2010 23:12
PrairieOyster · 17/11/2010 23:12

Or was it 9.3 when the jacket made it's debut..either way...

Bodenbabe · 17/11/2010 23:13

STOP PRESS!! Twitter Lucas just dazzling smile and wink'd at me! Waaaaahhhh!!! Oh wait, I don't care, do I?

PrairieOyster · 17/11/2010 23:13

Well he's done a new Hyundai advert....

Bodenbabe · 17/11/2010 23:14

Flowers, The Rover? Eh?

Bodenbabe · 17/11/2010 23:17

Bugger, bugger, bugger, CANNOT.... STOP... TWIRTING.... help, ladies!

Put down the Chardonnay, boden, put down the Chardonnay....

Theresaholeinyourmind · 17/11/2010 23:19

'Ecky thump £850??? I daren't look at the women's prices then. I fear I have not been suitably grateful if that's what they cost. :(

Nor am I going to be. So there.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 17/11/2010 23:22

Bodenbabe - Somewhere it is on some sort of (on the internet so utterly reliable) record that he was signed up to do The Rover next year. Having several years ago appreciated the sight of Jeremy Irons in floppy white shirt in the role, I had great hopes of it. Now, I presume, sadly dashed by the bloomin' Hobbit.

Bodenbabe · 17/11/2010 23:23

Oyaster, so funny, that ad was on the other night and my mind was elsewhere (with you lovely ladies) and I fouhd myself thinking "good Lord, I'm imagining his voice everywhere!" - good to know that I wasn't imagining it after all:)

Bodenbabe · 17/11/2010 23:27

OMG, now he's "staring seductively" at me - it's like Old Lucas is back. Sadly, so is DH :o

Though can't shake the uneasy feeling that behind 'Lucas's Twitter feed is a middle-ged man getting off on the fact that all these women are twirting with him...

Bodenbabe · 17/11/2010 23:30

"middle-aged", that was supposed to read.

Ta for The Rovers explanation, oh Flowery one.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 17/11/2010 23:30

Well one thing's for sure, Boden. It's not Lucas :(

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 17/11/2010 23:30

Remember, Bodenbabe, he's only 14.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 17/11/2010 23:31

PS I do imagine his voice everywhere, Boden. Maybe I need medication.

Bodenbabe · 17/11/2010 23:38

Flowers, it's like he's back though!! Oh God though, a 14 year old Twitter Lucas is worse thatn a 50 year old Lucas. Am feeling very unsavoury now. Not to mention pissed :)

Theresa, hush now - let's not think like that. It is Lucas, I need it to be Lucas.
