I won’t be saying who they are.

I recently spoke to a friend about it who
had lots of questions which lead to an interesting conversation, things I’d never said or thought about before.

When I was younger I used to feel incredibly jealous of them and had a very short and unsuccessful attempt at creating my own fame.

Now I’m older with my own dc and have seen the effects up close I definitely think the negatives out way the positives and it’s not something I would ever want for my children.

Can you at least say if they are male or female?

Unlikely

quaintireneofrye · Yesterday 19:21

I think it's Eddie Izzard. Sorry I can't remember their name now..
Suzy - edit to add

I'd choose Hannah Waddingham.

I think Victoria Coren-Mitchell would be a good laugh. She seems down to earth.

They get recognised wherever they go and get given special treatment or followed and harassed.
A lot of their life has been managed and controlled, they don’t do things on their own or organise things themself.
They've always had a cleaner, a nanny and a personal assistant.

I’m thinking maybe a model or tv presenter. I understand you not wanting to say who they are OP, because then you can’t be honest without harming their privacy.

There is a theory that when people become very famous they are kind of stunted at the age or stage when they became famous. I have always found it interesting - do you find that to be true?

Interesting theory and I don’t disagree, from having a completely normal childhood there was then many important life experiences as a young adult that they didn’t get to experience in a normal way.

Very interesting thread, thank you.

Do you have family Christmas or other celebrations all together with parents and can the celebrity status be forgotten then?

BillieWiper · Yesterday 19:30

Do you think objectively they are very talented in their field? Or was their success more down to luck and determination rather than actual talent and skill?

Would you be a fan of theirs if you weren't related?

Do they have any cosmetic surgery and if so what? Do you think their success felt very reliant on their appearance?

What are the main material possessions they have now to show for their fame?

Did you ever want to be a celebrity yourself?

Thank you very much xx

Why are you defiant towards her? What about?

BrickProblems · Yesterday 19:32

Really interesting OP about (I think you imply) letting their kids privacy go early on and then not being able to get it back.

If their kids are old enough to be thinking of their own jobs have they found it a struggle to settle to “normal” jobs or courses etc? I think kids of celebs often end up in a weird bind where they and everyone else experts them to become famous in their own right.

QueenJelly · Yesterday 19:32

Are you Wayne Lineker?

LivelyGreyShark · Yesterday 18:17

I think Sophie Price as well.

That would be my guess too.

Great thread!

Did your parents have a role in them becoming famous (I appreciate they were a young adult so maybe less like a 'stage school' parent) but more perhaps encouraging them in the particular field, paying for or otherwise supporting that field? And if so, did that/ how did that affect your relationship with your parents?

Secondly, do you have other siblings and if so what's the relationship like there?

Thirdly, how old are your famous siblings' children and how are they approaching things like careers, life plans, etc?

Yes, we have normal family celebrations. It of course is sometimes mentioned in conversation but it is never gets in the way for close family.
Extended family get togethers have been harder in the past.

Who’s the most famous person your sibling has ever met?
What is the most out of touch thing you’ve ever heard them say?

OP has said it was a spelling mistake. They meant definitely 😊

No, our parents didn’t really have any part in it. They were given the same general support I was given.

We have another sibling and the relationship is similar, we are all close now but we haven’t always been.

Im hesitant to talk about the children as it would make my sibling easier to narrow down. But they have more than one child, at least one is planning a similar career.

Does she have a famous partner/husband or is it only her that is well known? If he isn't famous how does he deal with it all?

crazymommaclub · Yesterday 19:44

im guessing your related to someone in Ne Direction

Imdunfer · Yesterday 19:45

I want to a wedding once when one of the guests was a famous actress recently on telly, Hannah Gordon. She was there because the groom was props manager on the series and was in.

The wedding evening event was definitely more about Hannah Gordon than the bride and the marriage didn't last.

Has your sibling been involved in any similar situations?

Journey1234 · Yesterday 19:47

I definitely think you are Sophie price. Process is following her mother’s foot steps.

hellofrommyothername · Yesterday 19:48

Have they ever had a stalker?

Yes Sophie was my guess too!

BrickProblems · Yesterday 19:50

Is it difficult with family celebrations? Like if it’s your mum’s birthday and you get her something normal and your sibling can afford something massive? Or do you all agree a budget?

Do they end up staying at home a lot as a result of fame?

LivelyGreyShark · Yesterday 19:50

I don't think KP's daughter is planning to become a glamour model.

ABoldStatement · Yesterday 19:51

When out with your sibling, have you seen people sexually harass them?
