I won’t be saying who they are.

I recently spoke to a friend about it who
had lots of questions which lead to an interesting conversation, things I’d never said or thought about before.

When I was younger I used to feel incredibly jealous of them and had a very short and unsuccessful attempt at creating my own fame.

Now I’m older with my own dc and have seen the effects up close I definitely think the negatives out way the positives and it’s not something I would ever want for my children.

I don’t really know how you measure fame, they’ve met David Beckham, Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne? I can’t remember them ever meeting someone I would consider more globally famous than that

How do the press portray your sibling? Is it accurate, positive, negative or does it annoy you? Is there anything you can tell us about your sibling that the public would be surprised to know.

Why are so many convinced that the celebrity is Katie Price? The age gap between Katie and Sophie is bigger than the sound of the gap between OP and their sibling. Plus the OP says their sibling is wealthy, and Katie Price is bankrupt (although to be fair you wouldn't know that from the way she carries on!)

Yes and they’ve been excluded from or chose not to attend friends events to avoid this.

Once one person asks for a photo everyone seems to decide they want one too even without needing to like or be interested in them.

I think because the OP said their sibling wasn't famous through music or acting, to be fair it could just as easily be Kate Moss or a celebrity chef or sportsperson.

I certainly don't think it's Pricey. People aren't clamouring to have their picture taken with her or be her friend, she's more a liability than anything.

Actually I think she has three, two half siblings on her mothers side and one on her fathers.

Some clue to as what sort of celebrity they are would make it clearer as to whether we would consider them renowned famous.

Does your sibling's fame/wealth affect the family dynamic (eg create a power imbalance) and if so what's the impact of that on you all?
