I won’t be saying who they are.

I recently spoke to a friend about it who
had lots of questions which lead to an interesting conversation, things I’d never said or thought about before.

When I was younger I used to feel incredibly jealous of them and had a very short and unsuccessful attempt at creating my own fame.

Now I’m older with my own dc and have seen the effects up close I definitely think the negatives out way the positives and it’s not something I would ever want for my children.

In which case I feel sorry for this person. They're not A list, so it's perfectly possible for he/she/they to pull back. Perhaps they don't have anyone to help and support with that. Which is sad.

You said that you also had a brief unsuccessful attempt at becoming famous and it seems like you're fine with that now, but what do you think made your sibling successful / set them apart from your own and lots of other young adults attempt to become famous?

Keir is incredibly private, which I respect. We know nothing about his children and they've been able to live without the glare of publicity.

My cousin is a celebrity. She's a relatively famous actress in the UK though not known for gossip column appearances. Another cousin (all three of us are daughters of three siblings) looks a lot like her whereas I don't at all, and my other cousin (who's a teacher) is always getting people looking at her when out and about. She's always being asked "Are you X" or told how much she looks like her. She just denies everything.

Has fame / celebrity impacted your siblings ability to parent, there's been a couple of AMA from nannies to the very rich and it seems like the nannies do most of the parenting.

There is a theory that when people become very famous they are kind of stunted at the age or stage when they became famous. I have always found it interesting - do you find that to be true?

Parents still around, I’ve never felt like we were treated differently just that we’ve needed different things. They’ve found it very difficult but they are supportive.

I don’t think so, they've never said that but I think they would have done things differently.
