I won’t be saying who they are.

I recently spoke to a friend about it who
had lots of questions which lead to an interesting conversation, things I’d never said or thought about before.

When I was younger I used to feel incredibly jealous of them and had a very short and unsuccessful attempt at creating my own fame.

Now I’m older with my own dc and have seen the effects up close I definitely think the negatives out way the positives and it’s not something I would ever want for my children.

I think you said they became famous doing reality TV? If so, was this difficult for your family re media intrusion? I can imagine reality TV would be harder on this front as the person is appearing as themselves in a heightened way, rather than playing an acting role, singing etc

They were encouraged by someone who gave them a contact and then were quickly noticed by someone else who had some power and who liked them so got them more opportunities.

I think most people who are a sibling of a celebrity will have jealous feeling at some points and then now you don’t have jealous feelings as you feel the negative parts out weigh the positives. Either feeling is totally normal I would say 🤷‍♀️
Ultimately their life and choices are theirs and yours are yours and you only have control of one of them, so just be happy.

I don’t think so but they probably wouldn’t want to either. No, they wouldn’t be able to live the lifestyle they want and support their children if they stopped working now.

Does your sibling have any genuine friends that they can completely trust and tell them anything?
