I recently spoke to a friend about it who
had lots of questions which lead to an interesting conversation, things I’d never said or thought about before.

When I was younger I used to feel incredibly jealous of them and had a very short and unsuccessful attempt at creating my own fame.

Now I’m older with my own dc and have seen the effects up close I definitely think the negatives out way the positives and it’s not something I would ever want for my children.

No, I don’t think that at all, but they do happen to get more validation and coverage in the media than the ordinary person.

But - what I thought I recognised in the early posts was sympathy, perspective, humane intelligence.
