Yes I have autism and ADHD.

I am now on Elvanse and much more stable.

Then I am very glad to hear that your life has settled down and you are happy. May this continue.

Doubledutchbuss · 10/08/2026 08:43

But if your children are teens and this happened 10 years ago were your children born by this point?

Yes, I had children.

They never met my non binary partner or my 'friends' though.

I had my children Monday to Friday and they went to their Dads at the weekends (well his mums house, she has a massive house and the kids and DH all stayed there with her) so I only saw my partner/friends at weekend.

What does pansexual mean? Did you learn the meaning behind all the different coloured Pride flags? And why is this group of people so conformist in what I think they believe is non-conformity?

Lexibletheflexible · 10/08/2026 09:02

So you're now only attracted to men?

cowasballerina · 10/08/2026 09:03

Ah yes, the conformity of non-conformity.

It means you're attracted to all genders, so not just male and female but transmale, trans female, non binary, basically anything.

I absolutely do not feel that way now.

I knew some of them, I had the pansexual flag as my FB header 🙄🙄🙄

Exactly, their non conforming conformity was mandatory.

Yes.

Well edited to say My husband. I really don't feel an attraction to anyone else though that may be my age/ hormones 🤣

What is it with the blue, pink, green hair?
Over the weekend I saw 4 young men with long blue hair.

They think it makes them look different. The irony.

Exactly 4, not together and they all looked the same. The same shade of blue? Very self conscious, “can you see me?”

Do you work for the NHS?

JacknDiane · 10/08/2026 09:12

I had blue hair 45 years ago. Back when you could have blue hair and it wasnt a statement or a declaration or anything to do with sexuality.
It was just cos you wanted blue hair.

Now everything has to be a big deal.

cowasballerina · 10/08/2026 09:03

Ah yes, the conformity of non-conformity.

They’re more conformist than a group of men in suits going to work in an office yet they think they’re so wacky and unusual. I suppose all tribes adopt a uniform so they can recognise fellow tribespeople.

Would you say you grew out of this pansexual thing and that it was a passing phase?

How do you feel when you look back at old photos from your blue hair era?

Geneticsbunny · 10/08/2026 09:20

How did your family maintain a good relationship with you during your blue hair phase? What could they have done to support you more and potentially shorten the phase or so you just think its something you needed to work through yourself ?

cowasballerina · 10/08/2026 09:56

I suppose all tribes adopt a uniform so they can recognise fellow tribespeople.

Indeed, humans are still very tribal.

CypressMoon · 10/08/2026 09:58

MimmyMoozer · 10/08/2026 08:26

I grew up I guess. Am now a very 'normal' looking 40 something mum. Am MUCH happier now, that was a very bad time for me.

That's interesting. Did that look help you feel better at the time or was it part of the problem?

HappilyHarriet · 10/08/2026 10:02

Thanks OP - as the parent of a young adult going through a similar (but more extreme version) of this, it’s reassuring.

MyThreeWords · 10/08/2026 10:05

Did you ever actually have sex with Pan? Did the pipe music get annoying sometimes?

tastytea · 10/08/2026 10:09

Was the non binary person actually a woman or a man?

grrrlatrix · 10/08/2026 10:30

MimmyMoozer · 10/08/2026 08:43

Tinned plum tomatoes, just the toms, not the wet sauce. Bit of salt and brown sauce. Has to be double toast and lots of slightly salted butter 😋

I thought I was open minded but this is unacceptable. 😓

Mt563 · 10/08/2026 10:35

So did you consider yourself bisexual before meeting those people and, if so, why don't you consider yourself bisexual now?

Ilovelurchers · 10/08/2026 10:35

Hi OP glad you are feeling happy now.

Do you have a particular outcome you are hoping for or motivation for starting the thread?

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 10/08/2026 10:35

Were you actually attracted to “all genders” or were you lying?

GreenCaterpillarOnALeaf · 10/08/2026 10:42

I also used to have a septum piercing, it was so crusty and I always wondered if it was just me being gross or if they were all like that! Was yours crusty as fuck as well?

It actually looked really nice when I look back at photos. I remember once in a que a little girl said I looked like a mermaid, probably the best compliment I've ever had!

It's a shame coloured hair has been 'stolen' by the agenda, people really do assume you are 'queer' if you have it.
