I grew up I guess. Am now a very 'normal' looking 40 something mum. Am MUCH happier now, that was a very bad time for me.

Peer pressure for sure. The wrong crowd. Woke thinking.

Has questioned my sexuality as a teen (bisexual) but had only ever been with men.

Got involved with a 'non binary' person and got sucked into the whole world of 'be kind/ TWAW and that there are infinite genders so I couldnt 'just' be bisexual. I had to be pansexual as thats more inclusive.

I look back with great embarrassment at my behaviour.

I wasn't a teenager. I was in my 30s.

And I am talking about my own experiences, which have absolutely zero correlation to anybody elses personal experiences.

No, non of them. I probably wouldn't feel safe around them now.

When did all this happen then ? How old were you. I didn’t really think the whole “ infinite genders” was a thing 20 years ago. Are you in touch with your friends from Jay period and have they moved on too?

Oh, god. Sorry, I genuinely thought you’d said you were in your teens, or at least very young. That’s a whole different situation. How was someone well into adulthood so vulnerable to that kind of groupthink?

My parents were baffled but tried to be kind.

My children are teens and non of them have reached forbthe blue hair dye yet.

Do you have, or do you suspect you might be diagnosed with, ADHD? Because I've seen this kind of 'taking on the lifestyles of others' behaviour a lot in other ADHD people, and I tend to do it myself (diagnosed).

It wasn't 20 years ago, I am early 40s now, this was my early 30s.

I was autistic (diagnosed only a few years ago) didn't have many friends, felt lonely and confused about my sexuality and had come out of an abusive relationship.

Yes I have autism and ADHD.

I am now on Elvanse and much more stable.
