OP your responses are pretty brazen. Many have difficult times and relationships but they don’t sire 7 children and expect less well off families who work harder to support them through taxes. Do you ever feel guilty about the amount you are given? Or about how due to your irresponsibility you’re better off than most working parents?
A cleaner, savings, 7 seater, numerous holidays. The benefits system is meant to be a hand up not a hammock. Sorry but find it just mind blowing you get so much when others including some NHS workers have to rely on foodbanks. Do you get any disability benefits on top? Would you agree there should be a two child cap and no exceptions to be fairer to the hardworking families having to fund your poor choices?

It’s not bitter. People like the op are why this country is in so much debt. It’s not a good example to set by having 7 kids with 4 dads.

Loads of families with fewer dc can’t afford foreign holidays or to fund university.

How did your most recent pregnancy happen? You’ve already got six kids from 3 useless men, you’ve fled from DV, you’re halfway through a law degree and yet you decide to have another baby with another man you’re not in a relationship with. How does that happen? Whichever way you look at it, there have been some pretty poor choices made.

@Bunny44I think the free hours and child benefit should be universal so people like you benefit as you pay enough tax. Many people disagree with that though.

as a lawyer who qualified back when you had to go to a law library and actually climb up a ladder to find your case, AI coming for my job doesn’t worry me. Like the internet it will change the way we work but we wont see lawyers being replaced any time soon.

in terms of getting experience unfortunately the most recent cohorts of “covid kids” have been very difficult to deal with. I understand why - my eldest two DC fall into this category - but give me a mature student, who can have a phone call, carry a conversation and is prepared to graft any day of the week.
