After years of trying every diet out there, I finally found something that worked for me: Mounjaro weight loss injections.

Since last July, I’ve lost 100 pounds.

Starting weight: 20st 12lbs (292lbs / 132.4kg, UK size 26-28) BMI 41.3
Current weight: 13st 10lbs (192lbs / 87.1kg, UK size 16-18). BMI 27.5
Target BMI: 24

I know I’m not at target yet, but it 100 pounds is a nice round number so I thought I’d do something to “celebrate” and also share my experience. I know weight loss injections can be a hot topic, and I’m happy to share my experience—so feel free to ask me anything!

I won’t be responding to abusive messages. This has been the best thing I’ve ever tried, and I stand by my choice.

Let’s keep it respectful, but if you’re genuinely curious, drop your questions below! 👇

@summersolsticesoon I have stuck with the same provider since the start. Other people chase offers. Monj.co.uk is your friend on this one , has all the updated prices

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. Some have had success with vegetable glycerine. Weight training will also help improve appearance.

I think I may need a tummy tuck by the end of this though.

I go through tons of double base moisturiser every week!
I walk miles I ride a bicycle, I also dance, I l work out with dumbbells, I really don’t know what to do!
I take collagen tablets too!

Have you experienced any vision problems?

stopthatrightnow · 24/05/2025 00:07

@HollyIvieno, but I’m interested to know of any science based studies suggesting this is a side effect?

Just wondered as I'd seen it mentioned as a potential side effect... iMounjaro, like other GLP-1 receptor agonists, can cause vision problems, including temporary blurry vision, as a potential side effect. Rapid changes in blood sugar levels, which Mounjaro can induce, can affect the shape of the eye lenses, leading to blurred vision.

I have had slight vision issues but didn’t link it to Mounjaro. I am also getting lens replacement surgery in July. I’m getting a bit worried.
