Would you recommended this line of work to a female family member such as a little sister or your mother? If not, I hope you find a way to exit and that the circumstances which led you to explore escorting as an income stream change to make your life easier.

Explain the difference? I think escort is just a nicer way of saying prostitute. I get paid a lot. I don't feel proud of what I do. But the way I started doing it doesn't sit right with me

If you're unhappy with what you're doing, stop doing it. I know that's not easy when the money is good, but your mental health is more important.

I don't want to go into details as it's too outing. But basically met a lovely new man, thought I was having a 'fun time' which I was happy with and it's morphed into escorting. Which makes me sound really dim.

The party line is that we enjoy it and it's a hobby. I shouldn't have posted anything as it's very outing. Thank you to anyone who has contributed. I definitely need to get out of this situation

Some people not unreasonably take the euphemism at face value, and think that escorts are paid to escort their clients to cocktail bars, to accompany them to the ballet and to pose as their tall, slender, glamorous, intellectual date at dinner parties, and then to go home to their own bed with £1k in their handbag.
(I don't actually think that job exists. I think it's more straightforward just to say prostitute to avoid misunderstanding.)
