What’s the weather like there right now?

Moved here because we knew the area whilst looking for a more permanent home, but then the pandemic happened so here we are.

We took early retirement.

Do you come back to the UK for doctors appointments and prescriptions?

Not to derail the thread. @DobbyTheHouseElk I saw sticky Vicky about 2001.
This was about 3am and she was getting out of a very very big car.
All I remember is that she had the most gorgeous pair of green shoes on.
She wasn't very tall and had a driver and bodyguard.
Went to watch the show and she was very entertaining and I think or hope a
lot was slight of hand. Razor blades, coke bottle tops and a long string of lights
came out of her foof foo.

Learning Spanish, very slowly.
No definitely did not want to leave the EU.

It's something of an ironic thread when the whole premise is 'ask me anything' and yet half the questions are careful avoided.

Any more details apart from early retirement? Why Benidorm?

No I have not seen the legend that is Sticky Vicky.
Although I have heard all the stories apparently in her heyday she did 12 shows a night!!

How has Brexit affected you? I'd love to retire to Spain but the income requirements and lack of healthcare/state pension reciprocity mean it's impossible for anyone with a normal sized annuity. Have you been able to buy?

We have lived here for approx 4 years.
We have Residencia and private health care so all we need is well covered.
We chose Benidorm because we knew the area and thought we would be able to transition easily before moving further afield.

Four years and you still can’t speak Spanish? Do you integrate much?
