Hi there, folks.

As the title says, I'm here to respond to questions in good nature.

For a bit of background information, I'm 30 years old, a trans activist out of necessity (being the first 'out' trans person in numerous spaces, which didn't have any rules or regulations before, but have since been commended for ease of process by some new trans members or trans members who have been referred by me), have been 'passing' for about three years, now.

OP, in your view what are the differences between men as a class and women as a class? What is your definition of man and woman.

If you are unable or unwilling to define men and women as two distinct classes, what does “trans” mean?

I've heard it all now.
No one is denying the existence of anyone, no one gives a shiny shite how anyone chooses to live.
What I will firmly deny is ability of any human on the planet to magically change sex.
You can wear the clothes of your preferred gender so that your outward appearance matches that of the gender you most feel like (whatever that means) but sex cannot be changed.

Do you not think that biological sex is enduring and ultimately trumps the made up concept of gender?
If we are dug up by archaeologists in the future, they would use dna and skeleton structure to establish sex.
I don't care how people want to live their lives or what they pretend to be, but the fact remains that biological sex is immutable.

I am living in the wrong body and it's awful. Every time I look in the mirror I cringe.

Agreed. In fact, I always thought of myself as gender critical, but the pile on here seems so unreasonable. The OP isn't messing about. He's had major surgery. Why not take this as an opportunity to learn something? But no, communal rant is right.

Well, many of us are trying to, but the questions being asked are not being answered even if OP is responding to posts.
And that gets frustrating, hence the increasing exasperation being expressed.

Apart from surgery which would provide him with a penis.
I'd think someone who is truly dysphoric, to the point the wish to be known as the opposite sex, having female sex organs would be a big issue.

First - as you are a man - I hope you are acknowledging your male privilege as you answer women's questions about women's safety concerns. Cause from where I'm at, it looked at times like you were belittling women's thoughts on the subject

Can you just clarify, what is it you think is “hate speech”? Do you feel it is “hate speech” to say that it is not possible to literally change sex?

I really don’t think anyone is saying anyone else is lesser than them in any way. Surely hate speech or discrimination is about treating them less favourably or believing they are lesser in some way? Observing the difference between two groups of people isn’t discriminatory. I am a woman. A transwoman is a transwoman. A transwoman isn’t less than me in any way at all, but also isn’t the same as me. Is commenting that a woman and a transwoman are not the same “hate speech”?

to be told how brave and special they are of course!
