OK, it's Sunday morning. Most people are probably having a ly in or just watching kids TV. Not me. I'm about to deep clean the bathrooms. Ask me anything. Cleaning or non cleaning.

To what level of shit fuckery have we stooped when people have to snark at what was evidently a light hearted thread?
If mumsnet is representative of society it's no wonder we are fucked up.
I feel your pain re the foil on a kit Kat OP, tea breaks just aren't the same.

I literally just ate a KitKat with paper and foil wrapping. I don't know what these plastic wrappers you people speak of are.

Thank you, MrsJoeBlack, for restoring my sanity.

I do believe the OP might be making things up.

Does she even have a bathroom?Hmm

Yes, they were in a multipack.

No, I don't boycott Nestle. Although I agree I should boycott Nestle! So thank you for the reminder.

I shouldn't be eating KitKats anyway

Nestle sent formula baby milk to third world countries, but they didn't have sanitary water /preparation facilities & it meant the mother's milk dried up, so not a good plan. Possibly they've done other stuff too?

OP I'm v impressed with your bathroom cleaning shenanigans. How often do you do the deep cleaning? I did mine on Friday morning... But it was about the first deep clean in a month, so I suspect not v impressive!

(and it wasn't a very deep, deep clean either!)

See what you did, OP, with your nonsense cleaning the bathroom malarkey thread?!
No more getting on my husband's nerves with my Kit Kat ritual.
Well thanks for nothing.
Hope you're proud of yourself.

Ooh I see. Thanks lad most major cooperates are bad companies and most products are owned by some nasty cooperate company.

lee I try and do this sort of 'deep' clean (ducks for cover) every week. Doesn't always happen but I do a quick daily Wipe over of the loos and basins everyday so it's not the end of the world if they don't get a weekly deep clean.

Do you listen to music while doing your cleaning?

How soon after cleaning do you allow bathrooms and toilets to be used?

What do you wear on your feet when cleaning your bathrooms? Might sound an odd question, but with all the chemicals around and on the floor, I'm never sure whether to wear socks, bare feet, slippers, trainers, flip flops, where each has their own risks, including being eaten away by bleach.

I sometimes take a radio up with me if I have the house to myself. If ds are here then normally like to hear what is going on downstairs though.

Bathrooms are open for use as soon as each bathroom is cleaned. I find socks get soaked.

Good question regarding bathroom cleaning footwear. I normally wear flip flops.

What colour hair do you have?

How long is it?

What do you do with it when you're cleaning all of your bathrooms?

Do you have milk in your tea?

DameSquashalot · 23/01/2019 08:42

I've been meaning to buy some bathroom cleaning flip flops for ages.

What's your favourite biscuit?
