Is your veganism animal welfare related or climate/planet based? Basically, why are you a vegan?

What is your opinion of people who still eat meat and dairy?

Do you have vegan everything? As in, make up, toiletries, shoes, clothes etc or just food?

Thanks!

Why do you go on holiday and then cry when you won't eat the restaurant food?

Have you given up trying to find decent tasting vegan cheese? If you have found a tasty one, please do share.

How do you feel about eating vegetables? As animals/insects are killed in the process of vegetable farming

Is it possible to eat a vegan diet that is entirely locally (UK) grown ?

What do you think should happen to pests like wild rabbits, deeer and pigeons that eat vegetable crops?

Are you preachy?
Do you mind if other people you know eat animal products?

I’m vegan too not preachy still cook animal products for the rest of my family (only certain things I couldn’t cook a whole chicken for instance).

Only comes up at meals out etc then at the next one everyone’s forgotten. Most of my friends are lovely and will buy me plant milk if I’m coming over which I think is nice.

I went vegan for lots of reasons mainly animal welfare.

What is your opinion of people who still eat meat and dairy?
It makes me feel a bit curious and I usually wonder if people really know where there food comes from and how it’s treated. Vegetarians confuse me.

Do you have vegan everything? As in, make up, toiletries, shoes, clothes etc or just food?
Yes unless it predates me being vegan or is bought 2nd hand.

Pretty sure I’ve never done this. Though it is a bit annoying but places are getting better.

I like lots of them now though took about 6 months after giving up cheese. Though carni friends have recently tried violife flavoured slices and enjoyed & viollife Parmesan makes risotto so good people can’t tell.

It’s a sad consequence but unavoidable

Probably not we don’t really grow rice, pulses, etc but maybe if you only ate seasonal veg.

your comment ''vegetarians'' confuse me confuses me.

Sounds like your respect your own decisions but you don't respect vegetarians decisions. Why on earth would vegetarians confuse you.

I try not to be preachy but it’s hard not to share information if you’ve learnt something new. Currently trying to persuade people to watch Land of Hope & Glory on YouTube.
I don’t like meat being in my house.

Hi OP, I am thinking about going vegetarian or at least cutting down some of my meat/dairy intake for health reasons. I'm worried about the amount of antibiotics and hormones that are pumped into the animals and transferred to humans! I'd like to increase my intake of fruit and veg at the the same time however I am also worried about pesticides used on the crops! What advice do you suggest in terms of trying to avoid the most chemicals? Do you eat fruit and veg that is not treated with chemicals?

Sorry if that was slightly off-topic or unclear!

@royallypissedoff1 if you're looking for advice on becoming a vegetarian, don't ask a vegan!

I would love an answer though OP, i dated a vegan and although he was civil and respectful to me (when I put milk in my tea) he participated in a vile discussion on reddit which was so contemptuous of vegetarians it sickened me and turned me off him.

To be fair to the OP, I don't think they were being disrespectful of vegetarians. Not understanding someone isn't the same as not respecting their decisions.
