The Gtech AirRAM MK2 is very easy to switch on and operate, and with it being a cordless vacuum, a big plus is not having to plug it in while in use. I thought the the battery life was great, and I managed to vacuum my small flat several times on just one charge. With a bigger home, you'll obviously need to charge it more frequently, but with a runtime of up to 40 minutes, there should be plenty of juice to get the whole house done.
It’s also very easy to charge as the battery is removable and then connected to a small plug. It takes four hours to fully recharge, so you'll just need to make sure it's ready to go for when you need it.
However, it does have a few downsides. It doesn’t go completely flat, so it has a tendency to get stuck underneath low furniture. Sometimes it also doesn’t collapse all the way down – when this happens, it can be a bit tricky to manoeuvre.

How well does the Gtech AirRAM MK2 Vacuum Cleaner perform?
I’ve tested the Gtech on both wooden floorboards and soft fabrics and it works pretty well. Occasionally, it doesn’t pick up larger debris the first time, for example onion or garlic skins, meaning I have to go over the same area multiple times, but overall it worked well for quick cleans.
The biggest downside when it comes to performance is the lack of any alternative attachments. It only has the main vacuum head, which is good for most things, but it struggles to get into small spaces.
