Will all those posters who have been on this board constantly commenting how awful she is for ot reconnecting with her Dad now apologise? Let's see it

When others said she had her reasons for not doing so but oh no you knew better than she did.

How wrong you were.

If she ‘knew’ why didn’t she report it to the authorities? The whole family seems to be difficult and toxic. What a situation!

I love that she was “evil” because she doesn’t talk to her family.
Now it will be her fault she didn’t report abuse.

The standard she is held to is ridiculous

PyongyangKipperbang · 23/10/2026 02:29

Why does it have to be one villain in this?

Him being what he appears to be doesnt stop her being what she appears to be.

If one brother is a thief and the other brother is a murderer, it doesnt mean that the thief is innocent by virtue of not being as bad as the murderer.

Villain?! 🙄

Some people must lead very sheltered lives.

It’s so weird though to spend virtually all day on a forum obsessing over someone you dislike. I mean who even has the time!

Wafflesandcoffee · 23/10/2026 07:09

The criticism is only there as her statement raises more questions and doesn’t reflect well on her. I expect there will be some clarification but I think criticism is warranted following this statement, and justified until and if she offers that clarification. What did she know, when did she know it, and was the abuse still happening at the time? Did she do anything about it? Simply saying she had nothing to do with her father since 2018 doesn’t answer those questions.

Exactly. Maybe she didn't report anything because she had no evidence. The fact TM hooked up with a Filipino woman younger than his daughter must have rang warning bells

Every bit of media that comes out with any connection with Meghan means the detractors feverishly spend night and day spinning it to show Meghan in a bad light. This thread illustrates it

I'd love that poster who constantly went on about poor Mr Markle to show her face

BigWillyLittleTodger · 23/10/2026 01:56

According to the report in the Sun a friend of Meghan said this

maybe now people will understand why she’s had nothing to do with him since 2018’.

So according to the friend Meghan has known about this for 8 years and found out just before her wedding, why didn’t she call the authorities like her brother? Or contacted them anonymously if she didn’t want to be named?

Gosh it didn't take take long for a woman to be blamed for a man's (alleged) crime.

Being female doesn’t mean you are not obligated to report crime or suspicion of crime. The victims in this, if true, are the children, not Meghan.

I just did a little bit of reading around this. Maybe he is a pervert, but it could also be the son's material. I don't think it is possible to draw any conclusions at this point.

I agree. Only just saw this. Different stories. One they were found at his house. Another said found in a storage unit. One said about stacks of boxes. Another report of a computer.

simpsonthecat · 23/10/2026 07:18

Why would the son report it if he was the guilty party?

PetulaGordeno · 23/10/2026 07:18

SevenYellowHammers · 23/10/2026 02:11

Ahhh c’mon, these HAM people dedicate their lives to scrutinising that woman. They’re unhinged people truly. They’d blame her for the weather.

I am not a huge fan of MM but I do feel for her over family. They are a mess - obviously I’m not including her mother, Doria.
If this story is true about her father, then I feel for her as obviously she was very, very close to him growing up.
The half brother is a nasty, nasty piece of work.
Not sure about the half-sister.
Whoever slipped the 2018 ‘statement’ to the Sun hasn’t thought it through. It would be better for her and her sources to no comment.
I never liked the interviews her father gave about her they were unfair.
I also thought some of those early DM articles about her were disgraceful and one in particular was racist.
It is also difficult for her that Harry is bleating on about reconciliation because sometimes there are good reasons for no contact.

Have the same questions been asked & answered re Andrew’s family?

Is there a record in the US of every crime that was reported and there was found to be not enough evidence for an arrest?

If she knew he was engaging in the abuse of children by downloading images, she surely would've reported him herself. That's why I don't think the quote in The Sun came from her camp at all - I think the brother said it off the record because The Sun wanted a direct quote linking Meghan to the story. We know how much she wanted her dad at her wedding - I don't think she'd have gone to such lengths for someone she knew was an abuser.

I think she has her reasons for not reconciling with her dad, but I don't think it's this.

simpsonthecat · 23/10/2026 07:25

She's awful. Changed her name to Markle as soon as Meghan started dating Harry, and has had all her children removed from her care. They were raised by their paternal grandparents

EmpressSisi · 23/10/2026 07:28

I can’t say that I’m suprised.

Lady Colin Campbell (I know, I know!) hinted in her book that Meghan would reveal she was abused when Thomas died. I don’t believe a lot of what she writes but that always struck me as a very precise allegation to make and she must have had proof of a conversation to get that published whether the person was telling the truth or not.

It was something to do with a friend of the couple saying “what’s the worse thing you can imagine a father doing a daughter”

I hope that particular allegation is incorrect and LCC is talking out of her arse.

Onthemaintrunkline · 23/10/2026 07:29

And would we know about this if he wasn’t MM’s father?, of course not! I’m no fan of hers, but honestly does she have to deal with this as well. Gossip mungering at its worst!

Not much you can do if you don't have the proof and since the son only discovered it now...why should it have been her? How was she supposed to seen the proof herself.

There is enough to be suspicious of what he was doing anyway, along with the other stuff and none of us know all the details so how anyone can sit behind keyboard and be saying she sound never of cut of her Dad what an awful person she is, she destroys relationships abd so on.

simpsonthecat · 23/10/2026 07:33

That dreadful Colin Campbell woman started a gofundme page for Thomas Markle. She is batshit crazy in her loathing of Meghan
