They either need armed security or they don't.

op I suggest you read the posts over on the royal family site lots of good information explaining exactly why this man child and his tantrum throwing wife don’t need security. They need to just shut up and move the quiet life they say they wanted in 2020

If they had been successful in America they wouldn’t be asking for this. We aren’t the standby for his failures.

The professionals did classify Harry as the highest risk band for security though, along with the Wales family. Harry and family would still be getting it if they hadn’t left. It hasn’t reduced because of a reduction in threat. It’s due to them stepping down as working royals.

So they don't think he is now 🤷

He's not representing the crown anymore,so maybe his risk level dropped....

Sorry, but this is simply wrong. The security classification changed because he stopped being a working royal. Publicly funded armed security is only given to working royals. 24 hour publicly funded armed protection was only being received by QEII, C&C, Wales and Sussex families, because they were the only ones classified as needing top tier protection due to risk.

To reiterate, to get 24 hour publicly funded armed protection, you must both be classed as the severest of the risk groups and be a working royal.

Harry’s was removed because he stopped being a working royal, not because of a change in his risk classification.

He moved out of the UK which is when the decision was communicated that security would be looked at on a tailored basis when Harry was on UK soil, but that Harry would no longer have Internationally Protected Person status.

Now he’s back full time, the risks can’t only be considered when he has a trip home. The issue will have to be considered once again.

What he wants is IPP status, so that for which ever country he and Meghan go to they get treated as very important people.

However they don’t want to represent the UK. Just seems they want to go in endless jaunts, collect goody bags at events, speak a few “bon mots” here and there, make trite programmes about their indulged lives and sell shite* to make money.

You would hope the children actually get to go to school to be educated and mix socially with other children their age so they develop into normal adjusted adults not spoilt nepo babies only able to live off social media grifting. That they learn to make real friends not false ones for endless “ scratch my back” opportunities.
