As autumn/winter approached, Harry Potter fans worldwide anticipated the fictional return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While the annual fan gathering at London King’s Cross station didn't take place this year, LEGO® is keeping the magic alive with a brand new Harry Potter collection that celebrated Back to Hogwarts Day in September.

This latest LEGO® Harry Potter range offers sets for fans of all ages, and features iconic locations like Diagon AlleyTM and HogwartsTM castle and grounds as well as beloved characters - and they're all perfect Christmas gift ideas for Harry Potter fans.

So, whether you're looking to recreate memorable scenes or expand your wizarding world collection, these new sets provide a great way to connect with the Harry Potter universe, with or without your kids.

Starting with this first-of-its-kind 2,660 piece LEGO brick model of the iconic HogwartsTM Castle and Grounds. Which, in our opinion, looks pretty spectacular.

What we think: Enjoy recreating one of the most iconic buildings in Harry Potter together with your 18 year olds and above. This version of the Hogwarts™ Castle and Grounds has been designed for display purposes, though. So once complete, make sure to place it somewhere for all to see in your home. We particularly love the small details in this set, like Ford Anglia the flying car trapped in the branches of the Whomping Willow and The Chamber of Secrets™ underneath the castle.

Measuring over a meter wide, this impressive LEGO recreation of Diagon AlleyTM brings London’s most enchanting shopping district to life for wizards and muggles alike.

What we think: With seven iconic shops - including Ollivanders™, Flourish & Blotts™, and Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes™ - we’re rather excited about this Diagon AlleyTM set! In it, you’ll find 14 minifigures, of which four are exclusive new characters available only in this set. Fans will find authentic details from the Harry Potter films, as well as interactive elements like the hand-powered lifting hat at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes™.

Perfect for adult Harry Potter fans and LEGO enthusiasts, this 5,544-piece set offers a challenging and rewarding build experience. Plus, it’s suitable from 16 years old and up so you can enjoy some quality time building this set with your teenagers.

The perfect addition to your Diagon AlleyTM set? Why, Gringotts™ Wizarding Bank of course. This set has 4,801 pieces and 13 minifigures (including a disguised Ron and Hermione).

What we think: Perfect for adult Harry Potter fans and collectors, this detailed recreation of Gringotts™ Bank comes with three stackable models - the bank foyer, three underground vaults, and the Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon. There’s 4,801 pieces in total in this set, along with 13 minifigures - including Harry PotterTM himself, Ron WeasleyTM and Bellatrix Lestrange. We also love the interactive vault cart system, the bank’s opulent interior, the Magical Menagerie shop and Bellatrix’s own vault that has a surprise inside.

Perhaps one of the most exciting releases in this new range is The Burrow – Collectors' Edition. Ron Weasley’s family home is much more than a house, and this all-new version of The Burrow captures that perfectly.

What we think: Bring the Weasleys' magical home to life with this detailed LEGO® recreation of The Burrow. This 2,405-piece set captures the charm and whimsy of the iconic Wizarding World location. While it’s “not much”, it’s certainly “home” for the Weasley family (and Harry!), and this LEGO version recreates the rickety, twisted architecture of the Weasley abode brilliantly.

You’ll find this set is packed with magical features, playful accessories and 10 minifigures to play with (including the entire Weasley family and Harry himself). We particularly love the interactive Floo Network fireplace and the magical dishwashing in the kitchen! Oh, and of course, Errol the owl’s inclusion!

And finally, this hard to find collector’s edition of the Hogwarts Express™ has breathtaking detail and is a must for any die-hard fans.

LEGO® Hogwarts Express™ – Collectors' Edition, £430 | Buy now from LEGO

What we think: All fans of Harry Potter will no doubt understand the thrill of seeing, riding, and in this case, building the Hogwarts ExpressTM. This stunning 1:32 replica brings the iconic train to life with plenty of detail. Somuch so, that this meticulously crafted steam engine actually rocks like the real thing!

There’s three passenger compartments frozen in time, and the set features a whopping 20 minifigures of Harry Potter™ and his Hogwarts™ colleagues, including Ron Weasley™, Hermione Granger™, Remus Lupin™, Ginny Weasley™, Draco Malfoy™ and many more – including a Dementor™!

While it’s designed for ages 18 and above, we don’t see how you can avoid getting the kids involved in building this. After all, this 118 cm long masterpiece isn't just a model – it's a portal to adventure. Whether you're a seasoned builder or a devoted Potterhead, this set promises hours of fun for everyone.
