A family-friendly hotel that won’t break the bank? Step forward the Eix Lagotel, a lakeside resort with a big pool, clean, air conditioned apartments and plenty to keep the kids entertained. The beach is 10 minutes’ walk away, but there’s everything you need on-site including a gym, three pools, tennis courts, mini golf, a sauna and a hot tub.

If you’re looking to splash out, the five-star clifftop hotel Jumeirah comes highly recommended by Mumsnetters. Located on Mallorca’s northwest coast and just eight minutes' walk to the beach, the hotel has a show-stopping infinity pool and views to die for.
