No, it's not.

I'm hoping JD's party provides some light relief - gatecrashed by Susan and a reluctant Neil perhaps, but ultimately a triumph.

I can't think of any character in 'a good place' right now. But Spring is in the air so onwards and upwards!

Thankyou Pseudo.

I haven't heard last night's episode yet. I read here after watching Call the Midwife and decided that I'd had enough miscarriages for one evening.

I'm also anticipating Kirsty and Roy getting together now. Tom is going to be devastated by the miscarriage - especially the fact that it cuts off a route for him to be connected to Kirsty for the rest of his life. I wonder what will happen to Peggy's cheque? I actually thought Helen was lovely last night - that's what is so interesting about her, unlike Miranda who has no shades of grey. I also thought of Hazel - she is too thoroughly unpleasant. She and Justin have no children as far as I recall - I can see absolutely no reasons why he would stay with her.

Miranda has Annette Badland's face (in my head).

Report
EBearhug · 13/02/2017 11:52

Isn't Annette Badland who plays Hazel? Miranda is more willowy on my head.

Helenluvsrob · 13/02/2017 12:09

Yep Annette badlands is hazel and playes her so well!

I'm q new to the Archers and can't work out why Justin and Miranda are married? They don't seem to like each other much

BBC announcement

I will miss her voice very much. Until very recently Caroline generally sounded as if she was half-smiling and/or suppressing a chuckle. Lovely character

So sorry about Sara Coward Sad . She was a nice character.

Thank you for the new thread Pseudo

Errol We never heard Alice in her old office environment did we? She has never seemed the coolest most rational character though.

Wonderful interview with Sara Coward on TA website from a couple of months ago talking about her hopes that Caroline lives on.

Such sad news about Sara Coward.

I've just caught up with episodes and thread since Wednesday, when I last listened. Although I don't like Kirsty suffering, I'm really hoping this is NOT a device to push her and Tom together. I can see her and Roy becoming closer after this. I wonder if they'll both leave!

Oh, and something that gave me the rage, listening to Helen and Henry. When she gave him the little talk at bedtime, she said 'you mustn't be sad, alright' and he said yes or something, then she said 'there's a good boy' Angry. Like 'being sad' is somehow naughty! I'm struggling to remember, did their solicitor for the family case not say anything about therapy for Henry (or indeed Helen)? Or was there any reference to the Social Workers recommending as much? That is unbelievable. Not unbelievable for the Bridge Farm Archers to say it wasn't necessary, or for there to be comments about waiting times etc, but for none of the professionals to mention it at all? Ludicrous!

Made the mistake of listening after watching call the mid-wife with raging PMT 😢😢

I was raging at the instruction not to be sad too. Surely by now the school would have involved some professional help.
