Morning all

here's the spreadsheet, as per

Only two weeks to go, but still time to lose a couple more pesky pounds Smile

But this won't happy if custard slices and ice-cream are involved ...

Morning all

Thanks for the new thread BIWI!

Was a pound down on Fridays weigh in and then a bit more yesterday but back to Fridays weight again this morning

Looking forward to the last two weeks, would like to get into the 10’s so 3 more pesky pounds - to use BIWI’s phrase!

Week 9 and I still haven't weighed in! I gave up months ago (used to be a daily weighted) because I was getting too focused on the number on the scales) and I just don't remember to do it any more.

Morning! Was planning to post Friday's weight so delighted when the scales told me another lb off this morning Grin8.4lb down this BC and 33.4lb since the beginning of the year.

First week of the summer holidays for me. Ocado is delivering the ingredients for Uber Bootcamp menu this morning, so using that to kick off a good final couple of weeks as DH and I are off to NYC weekend after next.

Good luck with the scales today and have a good week x

1 lb off , which is good as it means I’ve lost the weight I put on comfort eating since we came back from our holiday !
Managed the weekend alcohol free , and didn’t really miss the glass ( or 3) of wine , though my husband did
I do see his point , sitting in the patio with a glass of water is not quite the same as sitting on the patio with a glass of wine , but we managed 👍

Morning Brew not weighing today because I’m using Friday’s and have a funny feeling today will be higher if anything. Not enough water over weekend, little bit of carb creep and period due today/tmw and my middle is like a big puffy sponge atm.

But well done to all on your losses or NSV and demonstrations of willpower!

Chipping - it must be beyond challenging and frustrating to navigate LC and vegetarianism esp without eggs.

Looks fab Greebol

Speaking of eggs (look away Chipping) did somebody mention last week that they were going to do an egg fast this week?
I don’t know what one is but think I might like to try it to ramp up momentum for the final fortnight (and beyond!) Grin

1 ib off here but not expecting it to stick as was off piste at weekend

That puts me at 152 and I want to get to 147. So five pesky pounds to shift

Dismal weigh in, seem to be basically ignoring bootcamp rules and carrying on as I would in maintenance despite having around 5lbs to go. Bobbing up and down between 8st and three quarters and 9st when I'm aiming for 8 and a half.
Positive points:

  • I started with the aim of getting to goal for my holiday a few weeks ago and pretty much did Just haven't got properly strict again for more than a couple of days at a time since I've been back
  • I'm definitely drinking less alcohol and more water, weirdly enjoying using my water/fluid tracking spreadsheet on workdays and aiming to keep my drinkaware app in the green "low risk" zone for July after June's holiday ruined my greenstreak.
  • We're finally defrosting the freezer tonight so next weekend when we're back from our trip I've got a clean sheet to start refilling and batch cooking.

1lb off. Finally again. I’m giving credit to Dry July for that one.

The week ahead looks good as I’ll be in control today through Wednesday, but Wimbledon again on Thursday (Ladies’ semis on Centre Court, my cup runner over), then a family outing to Ska night at massive local event. If I manage those two properly I might even see another loss come Monday.

Can’t decide when I’m weighing, though. I either record Friday or Monday, depending on which is lower. Playing games with myself again Hmm but clearly needing a “win” for motivation!

I keep reminding myself I’m still going down, overall, pound by pissy little pound... Grin

I’ve stayed the same as last week, but feeling very bloated. I don’t think I drank enough yesterday.
NSV put some trousers on that I was expecting to feel a little tight and my trousers feel much looser 😀

B Greek yogurt
L eggs and salad
D roast lamb and Celaric mash with coleslaw

I’m here Almahart! Looks like I just missed you earlier.

Same plan as last 2 weeks for me this week. Haven’t worked out the numbers, but I guess you could say it was a 20/4. BUT with cream in my coffees during day. So not sure it counts in ‘official’ fasting terms, as it’s obvs a few hundred cals during my 20 hr fasting period, but it’s working for me so who cares Grin

Have had a quick look now and not sure the egg fast is for me. I’d miss my veg too much and can’t be bothered with the constipation I would no doubt suffer, or forced eating times. But as is my way, I’m going to bastardise it and do my own version. So will incorporate it into my TRE plan and then do the ‘only eggs, cheese and butter’ bit BUT with a flgv or salad too. Who knows, maybe I’ll lose millions? Grin

Well done everyone and wow, GreeboIs!

I'm down 1lb, was down 2lbs mid-week, but I did think that was an overshoot and I proved to be right, it was back to 1 the following day.

B: leftover cauliflower cheese
L: chicken Caesar salad
S: chilli with mixed veg

Definitely no custard slices or Haagen Dazs in there today!

STS here. 11st 5.
Which is not bad as I'm happy with my clothes fit. I'm struggling to stick to the plan. I'm definitely in some 'lite' days. (I don't post my food if I'm 'off piste' a lot Blush)
I do recognise what causes the slips, getting too hungry and not having suitable food ready (aka not planning) plus not enough water.

But I have lost 8lbs in 8 weeks, that were resolutely refusing to shift so I'm eternally grateful to BIWI and everyone here.

I'm going to crack on again for the last 2 weeks.

Congratulations losers! And stay the samers! Gainers, don't panic, let's all DO THIS, final push. Wink

Morning ladies, I’ve been off the BC thread now for few weeks, due to 2 longish trips out of country and some reoccurring dental issues.
I’d like to refocus for the last 2 weeks. Lost only 3 lbs since the start, but that’s ok. Would be great if I could drop 2 more before we finish this BC Smile

Well done to all on the amazing loses and sticking to the rules!

Thank you all. I'm genuinely stunned. I thought I lost a couple of pounds - because the size 12 trousers I bought at the start of the week which were a wee bit tight fitted perfectly yesterday - but wasn't expecting such a big loss.

Guessing all the running about I do on stage helped, plus not having time to eat "proper" (ie: big) meals.

If anyone is considering an egg fast here's how it's done.

THE RULES

1. Eat at least six eggs per day
This is not a calorie-restricted diet so eat to fullness.

2. Buy the best quality eggs you can
Free range eggs may contain more omega 3 fats and vitamin D.

3. Eat one tablespoon of butter per egg
Coconut oil, olive oil and mayo may also be used.

4. You may add up to one ounce of cheese per egg if desired
Make sure your cheese is low carb.

5. Drink as much water as you can: at least 2-4 litres MINIMUM
Black or bulletproof coffee, black tea, green tea and herbal tea can be added if required.

6. Add salt and keep taking your usual vitamins (if taken)
Consider extra magnesium and potassium to prevent cramps.
If you suffer from constipation then flaxseed may help.

7. Exercise daily
Even a short walk will help maintain lean muscle mass.

8. Eat three meals a day; if not hungry eat one egg
Your appetite will be reduced but keep eating to preserve lean muscle mass.

9. Follow the egg fast for three days; five days may give better results
You will be sick of eggs by the third day.

10. Transition back to your normal diet
E.g. the day after eat two egg meals and one normal meal (whatever you usually eat), the day after that eat one egg meal and two normal meals. Consider keeping on eating at least two eggs a day to maintain the effects of the fast.

Just over a pound off here, but in a mini landmark, below 12 1/2 stone!

Less than a pound to first target so yay!

Thanks for posting that Stuntnun - so what are the rules regarding eating anything else? Is it literally just eat eggs/cheese/butter? I noticed you mentioned the flaxseed so is that just for ‘emergencies’? And what about cream? I can’t live without my coffees at the mo

Sorry for all the questions Grin

Some bastard has put a loaf of bread on. I don’t miss bread so much, but the smell wafting around the house is immense and not doing much for my Monday morning weekend-overeating-recovery and fasting! Ffs Hmm
