Carrying on from the old thread:
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/coronavirus/4104964-Ocado-tips-tricks-subs-M-S-shortbread-giveaways-and-defectors

Give a vague area of where you live, or first part of postcode, and how much you pay for your smart pass. They seem to charge how much they think we will pay.

London, SE23 : £9.99 for an anytime pass. Customer for 10+ years.

Timbucktime · 07/03/2021 11:46

Just posted on the other thread.

Email last week to say taking bags back from The 8th and. Ow I. My reminder of my order for the 10th it say they aren’t taking bags back.

nordica · 07/03/2021 11:52

London and customer for about 15 years, anytime pass just renewed at £8.99. They made a point in the email that this is cheaper than the standard £9.99 price.

Dancingdolphins · 07/03/2021 12:01

East Sussex. Customer for 10+ years. Anytime pass for £2.99 a month.

StanfordPines · 07/03/2021 12:03

Hello. Just checking in.

StanfordPines · 07/03/2021 12:04

Oh. Suffolk, £6.99 anytime pass.
I have full app and booking privileges.

EveLe · 07/03/2021 12:09

South Wales Valleys: Been paying £1.99 for an Anytime Pass for several years. Increased to £5.99 in January.

I’m cancelling my pass after my next delivery as service has been rubbish for several months and I can get Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Asda slots easily now. Tesco has a far better subs policy, priority slots bookable 4 weeks in advance and I can pay for my pass with Clubcard vouchers, so will be switching to Tesco permanently with an occasional Sainsbury’s delivery.

Fuss · 07/03/2021 12:11

Staffs £9.99. It was under £5 for ten years until it renewed in September.

I will be cancelling soon.

South London, customer for 15 years, anytime smart pass is £3.99 a month (was £1.99 a month last year).

GiantKitten · 07/03/2021 13:23

@Timbucktime
A swift response at least.
Obv they were still sending out standard email without removing that part.

Wilts £9.99 for anytime pass, started last summer, would prefer a cheaper mid week pass but they are not doing them and told me to like It or lump it when I queried what others are paying

However I can get regular slots, up to 4 weeks ahead. Hardly ever any subs or missing items and very good dates on everything so no reason to ditch them.

I watched my neighbours get their Waitrose delivery yesterday, the driver handling each item transferring it from his crate to their waiting boxes by the front door for all to see. No thank you.

Above all I am a lazy cow and glad I don't have to schlepp to the shops, especially when I find it hard to find a good time to leave the house when kids are at home.

Timbucktime · 07/03/2021 15:52

Thank you Giantkitten

Kent, £6.99 anytime pass, not sure how long - 5+ years?

bookgirl1982 · 07/03/2021 16:17

Kent £2.99, pass for a couple of years but longtime customer.

Downtown36 · 07/03/2021 16:27

Hampshire, 10 years plus. £9.99.

Was at £6.99 for a Smart Pass for years and years. Always tried to hike it up annually but would negotiate back down. Tried in 2020 and was told - absolutely no deals available. Also told they no longer issued new mid week passes.

Will be leaving as soon as things start returning to ‘normal’. Will just pay for the occasional slot when I need to top up on Picard.

Percypigmystery · 07/03/2021 16:30

Derbyshire. Customer for 10+ years. Just came on to say £1.99 anytime pass and have just checked and it has gone up to £5.99 a month from last month, so I’m really glad I checked this thread.

lin07 · 07/03/2021 16:35

London E2, £4.99 anytime

DobbyTheHouseElk · 07/03/2021 17:31

With Waitrose you can ask for bags or not have them. So you wouldn’t have to go through what your neighbour did
Madcats · 07/03/2021 18:23

I admit that I am place marking because I find it cathartic to complain about the demise of the service I used to love:

I was paying £6.99/month when I cancelled 2 years ago in Somerset.

I can see some £free slots late at night now, but not as many as I remember pre-covid.

I might not be swapping my 1-month pass with Morrisons for a 12 monther. Sadly they were unable to deliver cucumber or lettuce this week, but somehow managed to find a considerably pricier coffee bean sub.

I had to do an emergency trip to Waitrose to "click and collect" some school uniform for DD; the place was rammed with families (can people really not trust their spouse to purchase groceries by themselves?).

CoteFolie · 07/03/2021 19:20

South Yorkshire - customer for 9 years and since September paying £3.99 for anytime pass. Paying £1.99 before then.

I have left a couple of times over the years and been encouraged back with a reduced payment. Smile

DirtyDancing · 07/03/2021 19:21

£4.99 SE London. Customer for.. hum about 3 years I think. I’ve got one of those regular same time every week slots now.. not sure if I pay extra for that tho..

I think on the back of this thread I will be cancelling too...

Can anyone without a pass confirm, are at least some slots currently available for booking?
