Clearblue Clinical Trial on Mumsnet

Hi all,
Just a heads up that MN are looking for people to join the Clearblue Clinical Trial on the Product Test boards. I did it last year and all you have to do is use their fertility monitor for a month, fill in a diary with the results and send back.

I got a £50 voucher for my trouble so it's worth it 😊

Thanks! Have signed up

Thanks a lot for this. I've signed up too! I'm not allowed to start until my next cycle so if we are unlucky this month at least something positive will come out of it Smile

Have signed up too, we've just starting TTC. Its for 2 months and you get free tests and £100!

I couldn't find it on it here, link is uk.clearblue.com/survey

Rejected... probably because I've been ttc for too long...

I got rejected too Physics - kind of wanted to email back and ask why as it felt like some kind of insult haha

I was called today Rainy - I was emailed on Friday, but had to request for them to send the paperwork out because I don’t have access to a printer.

Just had an email with all the forms to complete so will get those done and cross my fingers. Though having read the info the control group aren’t allowed to use ovulation tests at all during the study, which makes me a little nervous as we’ve been trying the SMEP.

I'm doing the trial and am in the group where you do use what they send you. My toddler got to the envelope and mixed up the contents a bit. Is it the massive pot that I send off with my wee in (and the false pregnancy test)? And I test as soon as I get it every though I 100% know I'm not pregnant and I'm on cycle day 11?

Report
MoooominMama · 16/02/2018 11:37

Hi. I think the big pot is to collect wee and the little ones are the ones you post. It seems odd they want you to test as soon as you get the kit but maybe they want to confirm you aren't pregnant at the start? I've seen a number somewhere to call if you have any questions.... probably best to call and they'll be able to sort you out. Good luck

Thank you so much. I'll look for the number if I can't work it out for sure.

Anyone else having trouble with the pregnancy tests?
Mine both got the book error on them yesterday so they've had to send me some new ones.
Is there a special trick to them?

Report
seven201 · 16/02/2018 17:05

Are they not just normal clearblue pregnancy tests then?

Report
DaisyMay25 · 16/02/2018 17:44

@seven201 they're some early digital ones with a smart countdown thing.
I've never used a digital one before but followed the instructions and they clearly hate me

Oh dear!

I got accepted and they are sending out study pack today as AF showed her ugly face yesterday Angry

My worry is being In the control group and not being allowed to use OPKs

@R7589 I'm in the control group, just decided to DTD every other day starting at CD8 for two weeks
