I thought of this lovely girls name today so thought I would share as I've never heard it as a name or even suggested as a name.

It would also be a lovely middle name.

Only ever heard it as a NN for Teresa.

Middle name Frog?

Beautiful.

Yes it just popped into my head and I love it. I prefer shorter names though so dislike Teresa.

I'm not having any more dc though so thought I would share as it is never suggested as a nature theme name and sounds fresh, simple and modern

it's not a girls' name in any real sense of the phrase.

Awful.

I'm sorry but it sounds ridiculous to me, perhaps a sibling named Leaf?

Will you eventually have a son and call him branch?

I know it won't be to everyone's taste but I think it would be the type one could to grow to like.

It is short. Ends with the popular 'ee' sound. Rhymes with many other popular names. Has nice imagery attached. Strong positive values tied to it.

Anyway it popped into my head so I thought I would share it here in case anyone was interested as I have an interest in names and have never heard of it before.

No need to post that you disagree as I know many would dislike it straight away as it is unusual Smile

There is a reason why you've never heard of or met anyone called Tree.

I suppose there’s a good reason you never heard of it being used as a name.

Oh snap, Barton.

I honestly didn’t see your post.

It sounds like an Irish person saying 3 - it's up there with IKEA and Emee-Leigh IMO

Willow sounds much nicer. Tree isn't a particularly nice sounding word, much as I love trees.

I like a hippy dippy nature name but Tree is a bit prosaic Grin

Honestly, I like nature names but Tree sounds like a masculine name rather than a feminine name.

Puts me in mind of the Phoenix family (River, Rain, LeafJoaquin, Liberty & Summer)

Umm no.

Sage, Rowan, Winter etc are all significantly more useable.
