I feel so deflated today. I had flights to NYC and a match ticket for the final all booked up.

Not the most enjoyable day having to cancel everything and sort out refunds. Thankfully it was easy to offload the match ticket on the FIFA resale platform at a ridiculous price which eased the pain slightly.

Home Euro’s next then a WC in Spain/Morocco/Portugal in 4 years time. I just hope I can see us play live in 1 World Cup final in my lifetime but I suspect yesterday might be as close as we’ll get for a while.

I tend to believe tuchel’s explanation that the players could not maintain the pressure for a second and the crosses were beginning to leak through, hence he felt he had to make those substitutions and switch to defensive tactics. it seems to align with what Bellingham suggested after the game.

I wanted England to win the semis. I won't go over the horrible tactics in the match because they've been discussed to dead by now.

I was watching a thread of X, with videos of Argentineans playing dirty as always, and reinforced how much I don't want them to win the World Cup.

I'm a Spaniard and I want Spain to win. But even if Spain had been eliminated I wouldn't want Argentina to win it.

They are a bunch of dirty, disrespectful, racist, mysoginistic hooligans who are in the final because Infantino, the FIFA President loves them, and the refereeing has been atrocious in their favour.

I hope Spain crushes them.
