Every time I think of Subbeteo, it reminds me of the song My Perfect Cousin by the Undertones.

I always hate the end of tournaments and things like the Olympics. Can never remember how you lived beforehand, always feel flat. That BBC England montage with the Harry Styles song nearly tipped me over when watching at lunchtime.

Aw my ds26 had subbuteo growing up. The stands, the crowds - even a streaker 🤣 he had the ‘66 England team and Germany Team. I spent so much time playing with him that I actually became quite good!
