I’m sad Scotland didn’t have the fairy tale result in this match but it’s hardly a surprise. They tried to work out the inner machinations of what happens next on More or Less on radio 4 yesterday and struggled. It’s a lot to do with the number of countries now competing (thanks USA and FIFA) and the number isn’t to the power of 2 🤷‍♀️ You want cheese with that?
