Nice site flowery....I don't need your services as a HR expert, but your webdesign looks good!!!

Maybe you should branch out??

flowerybeanbag · 15/06/2008 19:47

thanks squilly.

Won't be branching out just yet though I fear.... I know my limits!

You are a TOP HR guru, your advice is really good. I will read on and learn from you!

good luck with your business - website v.professional.

Your website looks good. Congratulations. IT outsourcing too in your scope?

flowerybeanbag · 17/06/2008 22:15

QS if you mean the employment aspects of outsourcing a dept/function, then yes absolutely, TUPE, contracts, redundancy, consultation, what I call 'tricky situation management', all that.

Needing some help?

OP posts:
QuintessentialShadows · 17/06/2008 22:51

hypothetically, If I had a special IT job, say a development job, that I wanted outsourced, or contracted out, could I come to you?

flowerybeanbag · 17/06/2008 23:08

Could be, yes, would need to hear a bit more detail.

Do you want to drop me a line on flowery dot beanbag at ntlworld dot com or info at face2facehr dot com?

OP posts:
QuintessentialShadows · 17/06/2008 23:48

It is more like a friend needing a webdesign project done. But wouldnt be much money involved as she works for a charity. She might have found someone by now.

flowerybeanbag · 18/06/2008 08:58

Well if it's designing the website then that wouldn't be me, no. Project managing an outsourcing - yes, doing the technical bit, no.

Very good site. My only niggle is that it is face2facehr, but no faces on your site IYKWIM. I would want to know who I was dealing with. Maybe a short professional profile of each consultant?

flowerybeanbag · 28/06/2008 23:11

Thanks for your comment lou, that is a good point. I have an aversion to having photos of people on there, just a personal thing, I just think it's difficult to avoid them looking naff, but a bit more of a profile might be an idea. Might consider that going forward.

brokenbiscuits · 29/06/2008 00:00

It looks lovely, good luck with it all.

I am sorry if I am mistaken, but I can't see any contact address. etc. The law requires certain details of a UK company to be on the site. Just having the contact link (email link) and telephone number are not enough.

I may be wrong, but I think I'm right.

PeaGreene · 29/06/2008 00:06

Flowery, looks good. As lou says below, my main comment would be that you need people on there. I look at a lot of websites for work and it looks like the people who are running it are hiding - don't be embarassed to put somethign about yourself on there.

PeaGreene · 29/06/2008 00:07

And you have given me bloody good advice in the past, I have to add that.
