Me too
I'm a qualitative market research consultant.
The addition of the word consultant is designed to convince you I do NOT chase people people down the high st with a clipboard. Honest.

charliecat · 10/06/2008 23:01

me - online trader( otherwise known as selling tat on ebay)

Flibbertyjibbet · 10/06/2008 23:09

Tell you what, I can't be arsed going to original thread to 'register' I have to be up at 6 for a networking thingy.

When we get a topic for freelancers I'll just do what I currently do with the rest of mumsnet and just dip in and out and post/start threads as and when required!

moodlumthehoodlum · 10/06/2008 23:11

Don't worry Flibberty - I'll just add you to this list, there's nothing else to do.

hallo - well done that woman
might i be a pest and have a brackets [Arts]? girt ponce that I am

WideWebWitch · 11/06/2008 07:44

What's the purpose of the list?

WideWebWitch · 11/06/2008 07:44

(or thread)

moodlumthehoodlum · 11/06/2008 08:52

if you have a list of freelancers/self employed it could help in business being referred from one mner to another.

The last thread on this got a bit unwieldy so a list (in theory) might make things a bit easier. Although this thread is going the same way, so when people are done adding their name, it can be put somewhere else. We'll see.

OP posts:
Walkthedinosaur · 11/06/2008 08:56

Ooh add me, Walkthedinosaur - transcription and secretarial services.

moodlumthehoodlum · 11/06/2008 08:57

And, the point of asking for a seperate topic is that Freelancers, self employed, those running a business often have issues of common interest that might be better separated out from just "employment issues".

I think this is a great idea
There are some very creative folk on MN, in graphics, some illustrators, a few web designers, script and code writers on MN too. Where are they?

hattyyellow · 11/06/2008 09:07

Well done moodlum! Cheers for this, it must have taken you ages.

I had a great freelancers question the other day and it's completely gone out of my head .

Will post again later when I remember it!

Great idea moodlum- thanks I often have self-employed/small business issues.

Bossybritches - (small) rural daycare nursery owner

There are a few others in our line of business who might join too, thanks.

bossybritches · 11/06/2008 11:11

Hasten to add the business is small unlike the proprietor.....

moodlumthehoodlum · 11/06/2008 11:22

Great - when the list is a bit bigger, we can start to list people according to areas of expertise/profession iyswim.

Can you tell I'm trying to order the virtual world having given up trying to put my RL in order
