Should I move to Madeira, Portugal to be with family?

I'm 34, born in London, single and I work in London only making £30k a year as concierge but I want to work on Madeira with lower salary but with all my family there. I'm here alone since my parents retired to Madeira after moving to the UK in the 70s. I don't own property in the UK, and my parents lived in a council house. My parents live in a paid off home on madeira so I could stay with them. I can speak Portuguese so getting a job should be okay as there is a shortage of workers.

Why would you not?

Go for it; if you don’t like it you can go back. It seems like you are lonely and don’t have much to stay in London for; not partner, no kids, salary not wonderful and the weather is rubbish. Madeira is a nice place and has a good tourist industry. Or you can also try the Algarve if you don’t like being in an island
