What do you do? I'm getting jaded working in the NHS and know I have many skills that I could use elsewhere...

Librarian

If you don't mind me asking - are you a subject librarian at a university, or a librarian at a public library? Or something else entirely?

Teacher- Head of department in an independent school.

Mrsredlipstick · 20/08/2024 19:49

C-suite executive beauty. First MD role at 29. Huge promotions after completing my MBA. i had a gift for scaling sleeping brands then selling them.
However 15 hour days are the norm. Big commutes, I didn't put my children to bed.
I worked more than the boys and had to be twice as good.
My industry is still sexist and I can't wait to retire.
Nurses often do well in private beauty clinics. At least £50k plus bonuses. However the pension and holiday / mat leave is sat only.

RightHereRightNoww · 20/08/2024 19:49

Tax advisor.
Not London, not big 4. Need a degree but ok if not relevant. Over £50 plus bonus after qualifying. The exams are hard and it generally takes 3 years to complete them. Exams and study leave is paid by the company.

Executive Assistant - support to c-suite execs

I swear I've only seen c suite as a recent term.... And lots of EA on LinkedIn doing the job remote for a number of clients.

Midlifecrisis31 · 20/08/2024 20:03

NHS 😅

Pressthespacebar · 20/08/2024 20:06
