Anyhow, I'm going to "sleep" on this job and have at think tomorrow - even at lowest amount it's £30 a month more than I need to comfortably get through the month. But the hours are a bit tricky - if it was 8-12 it would be fab!

colditz - I know that care assistants are grossly undervalued... I have lots of elderly relatives who have been taken care of by amazing people working for a pittance ... but my point was not to denigrate care assistants, but rather to encourage QofQ to put her obvious skills to more lucrative and less tiring use, if the opportunity arises.
